Underagefag here, and even though I'm more than capable of obtaining alcohol, I'm really into DIY stuff. I figured it'd be fun to grab my gf and start a home brewery/winery. I know there are online guides, but does anyone have any particular good drinks to start with? I'm into sake, mead, or maybe a strong beer.
Anyone have any stories, for better or worse?

Where are you getting the money to fund this?
Beer is probably the easiest and quickest booze to make. Takes about 30 days all up from start to finish and its a good way to learn the basics of fermentation.
Meadfag here. Look up Joe's Ancient Orange Mead for a quick and easy recipe.
You should probably specify that you're under drinking age but still old enough to browse 4chan.
Assuming you're in American where drinking age is 21, of course.

Make rice wine like choujiu or makgeolli. Easy and cheap.
Go to asian market and get big ass bag of sweet/sticky/glutinous rice (grains should be opaque white, not transparent. You want rice 100% amylopectin). Also get jiuqu or nuruk or koji. Be aware if using nuruk or koji you need yeast also (bread yeast is fine).
Steam/cook a bunch of rice. Let it cool. Mix in your koji/nuruk/jiuqu then put it all in a large container to ferment for like a month. Some recipes like makgeolli you add water to the rice, others just rice (it will be solids not liquid at first).
Should get to about 20% alcohol and taste much good.
