If I had to guess, I'd say a childhood accident ruined the taste center of your brain.

I've never had Rye bread or any good breads. I like sourdough bread though, good stuff with bbq and cole slaw.

I've only had Jewish Rye Bread (lived close to a Jewish Deli) and that stuff is fucking good with Pastrami or Corned Beef.
