Can you afford chicken breast?
maybe some canned salmon patties.
make a pot of rice or use a rice cooker
steam some vegetables
cook meat the way you like it
create a sauce
plate the food and smother everything in the sauce
enjoy

yes. If I splurge I can go out and get a few nice ingredients or a bunch of shitty ingredients, so simple dishes will probably allow for the most quality

boil up a load of chopped onions, frozen peas, mushrooms and diced beef in a pot. drain water when its cooked and add some instant soup and cheap ramen
Go buy a center cut pork loin from costco for $16.
You get 10 pounds of meat.
You should slice it up and freeze each package.
Also go hunting and kill a deer and get the puppy processed for hamburger meat all year.

Provided you were able to hunt and borrow the equipment for a nominal fee, what would processing the deer for hamburger cost you?
>>7262487
Just got 3 does processed for $210. Which is enough meat for a family of 4 for like 9 months.
>>7262494
do you get it processed at like, a butcher?

Yah that's where I do mine.
It a really worth it desu. If you know anyone who hunts you could ask them to kill you a doe since most hunting camps have a yearly culling of does.
Italian One Pot.
Onion, Garlic and Meat (Beef Mince works) in pot with olive oil. Brown. Add carrot, cabbage, mixed frozen veggies, basically whatever you've got. Add a can of chopped tomatoes. Enough stock to cover vegetables once its all stirred together. Add things like mixed herbs, oregano, thyme, rosemary, whatever. Bit of salt and pepper. Break a handful of spaghetti or fettuccine pasta in half and add to pot. Push down so its covered by stock. Wait till the pasta is done, and pretty much everything else should be as well. I usually add a little white wine vinegar about half way through the pasta cook time. Add more water as necessary, a little at a time. Pasta thickens the sauce so no need to thicken. Serve with a little cheese on it if your into that.
Easy, quick and tastes fucking delicious. Add some spices to make a curry version, taco seasoning and beans to make it a little more tex mex, or add different meats like lamb or venison to make it a little more different. Great for getting rid of vegetables that you need to use up aswell.
