Curry sauce

I have coconut milk, coconut oil, pre-mixed garam masala, other curry ingredients etc. How do I make it into a curry sauce that will be good over buckwheat? Share your recipes.

i make barley with allspice, tumeric and curry

just poit some oil in a pan fry up some onions.. add the spices .. add liquid to cook the barley + barley and let it simmer.. when it's almost done throw in some nuts and/or raisins

i'm sure it works for buckwheat too

yup. It's low in phytic acid. I think it high i phytase instead. So it isn't chock full of anti-nutrients like grains are.

I don't have any allspice. Is there anything I can use to sub it for that I might have? Also how much of the spices/liquid? I'm a complete curry noob

just use the garam masala.. about a half teaspoon of every spice (more or less depending on your taste) +salt and pep

probably around 3 cups liquid for 1 cup buckweat?

this is more of a pilaf tho.. not a saucey curry

I would go with something creamy and mild for buckwheat. Throw in some yogurt, nuts, butter, garlic, etc.
