It's a salad pizza, though.

Anything can go on pizza.

You gonna eat with some ranch or caesar dressing?
>>
>>7243216

>caesar salad pizza

i like it. would have gone with a garlicky white sauce or maybe just olive oil, garlic and italian herbs. I'll try this out.
>>
>>7243216
OP this combination sounds very delicious actually, I'll try this out later. Pizza looks alright too.
>>
Bite on a wrong string in the vegetable and the whole slice is fucked.... in lasagna and stuff they put full leaves under cheese to soften them further and add weight so it doesnt pull all the topping away.
>>
if you're going to put caesar salad on top of your frozen mini-pizza, put it on AFTER you bake the thing, geez

As always, begin by gathering your ingredients.

Ran out of real Parmesan, so using pre-graded stuff; still much better quality than shelf stable Kraft cheese product specks.

I must have had a brain fart, or was maybe just drunk, but I'd completely forgotten that the refrigerator briefly died over Christmas, and half of everything went into the garbage, including my Caesar dressing.

So you grab the next best thing and improvise.

In this case, we're going to spike some ranch with fresh lemon juice, a clove of garlic, fresh cracked black pepper, and some Parmesan.

Spread everything around with the back of a spoon, or a spatula.

I must of sobered up a little at this point, because it dawned on me that I could have thrown together a make-shift Caesar dressing using mayo as the base, instead of ranch. Too late now.

When the romaine is just starting to take on some color and is a little crisp around the edges, around halfway through cooking, remove from oven.

Each piece of romaine gets an anchovy, à chacun selon ses besoins.

>>7243886

Anchovies aren't meat, anon, they're anchovies.

salad isn't that too leafy for pizza I mean youll be eating a piece of baked salad on your pizza. It'll be all wilted with those strings in it.

Top with another layer of Parmesan and throw it back in the oven to finish cooking.

The oil from the anchovies and the cheese will prevent the romaine from getting too crispy or burning.

Don't forget to rotate your pans.

Hit it with a few grinds of lemon pepper if you're into that sort of thing.

Do your best to cut it into proportionately sized slices with an even distribution of toppings, and realize you for some reason put on 9 anchovies.

Plate up a serving and serve with mug vodka.

A brunch fit for a king.

Two things I learned,

1: As an anon said above, there is an issue with the romaine coming off all in one piece. It wasn't an issue with the thicker parts toward the bottom (the slice on the left), so I'd just stick to using those in the future, and make a salad with the top parts.

2: Ranch cannot be turned into Caesar dressing.

Move the leftovers to a plate to cool to room temperature before wrapping up and throwing in the fridge.

Three more meals, ready and waiting.

>>7244102

The lettuce was really good while it was hot, but you're right, I'm probably going to eat assy lettuce pizza for breakfast tomorrow.

That said, next time I'd probably use twice the amount of romaine, since it shrunk so much, and just stick to the thicker, crunchier bottom parts.

What's specifically wrong with meat on pizza?

Are you more of a pita man?
>>

>>

Not who you're replying to, but in my opinion, it's a waste of good meat. Imagine how many animals we slaughter so they can become a shitty pepperoni pizza. Pizza is so pleb. Pepperoni pizza moreso.

If you're going to order italian sausage, then you might as well just get a fucking lasagna instead and do it proper.
>>
>>7244857

Nobody ever mentioned pepperoni pizza.

I know, I don't understand it.

Ranch is literally mayonnaise and buttermilk with seasonings.
>>
>>7246055

You say that in every one of these threads.

That's par cooked, thin crust frozen pizza with added toppings. A higher temperature would most likely turn the crust into a burnt cracker.

Looks like something flyovers would make in order to "finally be classy at least we're not the south"

You can tell it's a machine stamped disc from frozen pre-made dough pucks, not that their customers would know the difference. The gullible ones will just meme it on they're instagram and the ones who would like to have taste but they just somehow can't will erroneously complain that nice things are a scam (the error being that they've never had nice things so how would they know)
>>
>>7247161

>meme it on they're instagram

Read the thread, dum dum. It isn't a secret that it's a cheap frozen pizza at heart, nor that shitty ranch was doctored up to take the place of Caesar dressing.

Virtually every culture has some version of flat bread.

Just because there are people who put random shit that doesn't taste good on pizzas doesn't mean that there are things that can't go on pizzas.

Anything can be done poorly, but anything that can be done well can also be done well as a pizza.

I like doing a grilled Caesar, so I don't see it being much of stretch to make a pizza out of it.
