Dinner time! Today we shall be making ground beef stir fry!
You will need: rice, ground beef (or any meat you like), mushrooms, onion, carrots, ginger, garlic, leafy greens of your preference (I'm using kale & spinach), soy sauce, vinegar, red pepper flakes, sesame seeds and green onions.
Not OP, but half the time I go to the grocery store the pre-cut mushrooms are on sale for the exact same price as the whole ones, and look just as fresh.
I don't understand it, but if I'm buying them to use the same day, why not?
What, do you want to complain about the beef being pre-ground to? It's a matter of convenience, it effects nothing else. Why bother choping when you don't have to. The price difference is no more then a quarter
When meat is halfway done, add a bit of soy sauce, finish cooking and set aside. Cut up your onions into wedges (and mushrooms into slices if you've got full ones) and put together to cook with some of the meat's oil.
Julienne/shred carrots and add them to mix when mushrooms start to brown.
In retrospect julienned carrots would work better but all in all it's the same thing and shredding is much faster. Finally mix in your meat and adjust seasoning to your liking.
