Are wraps a viable alternative to sandwichs?
>>
>>7231378
yeah sure but i find the texture of them to be terrible for some reason
>>
Yup. They're nice for eating omelettes.
>>
>>7231378
Wraps are for people that don't know how to roll a burrito.

Burritos>wraps>sandwiches.

It's all about how well the food is contained for ease of consumption.
>>
>>7231397
burritos have too much tortilla at the top and bottom from being folded
>>
>>7231397
Isn't a burrito just a wrap with the bottom and top folded in before the sides?
>>
If you're going to use shitty bread, a wrap is a reasonable alternative. With a good bread, the bread contributes to a sandwich's flavor and texture. Some wraps offer better filling containment, and for street food that can be more important than flavor. Same way hot dogs in buns can be better than a broader sandwich at ballgames and cookouts and picnics where you may not have a table to sit down at.

>>7231407
This is exactly the point I'm making. Tucked ends prevent messes. Burritos turn practically any food into something that can be consumed conveniently with one hand.

You'd have to make a big loaf
>>
>>7231445
For you
>>
>>7231378
Yes, and they don't get soggy over time that's why they're good for intance to bring to work for lunch. Now let's say I brought a sandwich with any kind of bread, the bread would get soggy after say four hours, a wrap will be fine after that much time.
>>
>>7231378
Just roll up a pizza slice, wa la, sandwich wrap.
>>
>>7231476
I like my 'ap in a 'wich.
>>
>>7231476
No wonder Americans are so fat when they think up shit like this
>>
>>7231498
I've had "Pizza in a Cone" in both London and Sydney. Americans aren't the only fat fucks in the world.

Hell, everything worth eating in Germany is meat stuffed in meat.
>>
>>7231498
I'm Korean though.

You're retarded. You know wraps aren't just the end result, right? I roll my wraps the same way I roll my tortillas. It's nice to eat a BLT without getting crumbs everywhere.
>>
>>7231519
DO YOU WANT A HAMBURGER? DO YOU WANT A PIZZA?
>>
>>7231607
If you cook your bacon a little less, it wouldn't be so crisp and crumbly.
>>
>>7231519

im so sorry desu
>>
>>7231613

he probably means the breadcrumbs family
>>
>>7231607
If you tuck the ends, it's a burrito. Neither name identifies the filling. Wraps are just inept burritos.

Search your feels. you know this to be true.
>>
>>7231616
I did. Also burritos imply rice, beans, and shit. Rolling a BLT or some other "sandwich" with a tortilla is just gross compared to a wheat wrap.
>>
>>7231619
>Neither name identifies the filling
It does to native english speakers. If I say "hey bro you want a burrito?" he's going to expect totally different fillings than if I say "bro, let's make some wraps!"
>>
>>7231616
Well he can ignore his problems all he wants, but extremely crispy bacon is disgusting.
>>
>>7231425
You seriously can't wait to masturbate that bad? Damn
>>
>>7231627
Ok, I'll play. McDonalds breakfast burrito. Exact same fillings as a McMuffin. Nothing remotely mexican about it. It is tucked. Big Mac wrap. Same ingredients as a Big Mac. again, untucked. Not Mexican. The only identifying feature of the tortilla sandwich is how it is rolled.
>>
>>7231633
Can you?

In reality, I drive a lot in nice clothes to meet clients for my job. I'm often on a tight schedule. Finding foods that can be eaten cleanly while I drive is important.
>>
>>7231656
Every time I buy something in a wrap, it's so overloaded with food that the whole contents spill out after a bite or two
>>
>>7231656
Or you could stop being such a fat fuck and wait until after you've made the sales pitch for your Cutco knives before stuffing your face while weeping to yourself at the extent to which your life has turned into a colossal disappointment.
>>
>>7231714
If I was to wait until all of my sales calls were over for the day, I could be going 14 hours without eating. No thank you.

Also, Not in any way unhappy with my life. You don't know me.
>>
>>7231628
Mmm. Unrendered animal fat.
>>
>>7231649
Yes breakfast burritos are the exception to the rule. No one is going to make an enclosed wrap with deli meats and call it a burrito.

Not the guy you responded to, but yeah.
>>
>>7231407
Isn't a wrap just a burrito that's sliced diagonally?
>>
>>7231383
This is a fair point
I like wraps after I get sick of sandwiches, but the secret to a good wrap is a ton of lettuce for texture
>>
Wraps are sandwiches
>>
>>7231619
Why isn't a burrito an inept wrap?
Go suckup to mexicans somewhere else.
>>
Tortillas are a pretty shitty delivery system for cold ingredients.
>>
>>7231519
Ching chong make me some dumplings lad
>>
>>7231378

That wrap is way too heavy on the cheese.
>>
>>7232201
mmmhmmmm this.
>>
>>7234024
Because a burrito is harder to roll than a wrap.

You know this. You're trying too hard.

1/10
>>
>>7231383
that is because tortillas are shit if they are not heated up.
>>
A sandwich with quality bread will beat any wrap any day
>>
>>7231397
wraps can have closed ends too you mongoloid
>>
>>7231724
>>7231656

But you have all of this time to shitpost on /ck/? Sure, I believe your story. Fat fuck
>>
Lettuce wraps are the shit.

A wrap with closed ends is literally a burrito you spectacular cockgoblin.
>>
>>7231378
i usually make wraps while on keto with low carb tortillas.
>>
>>7231378
Wraps are just a rolled up open faced sandwich.

Kind of like an uncooked calzone really.
>>
>>7231397
What? The difference between a burrito and a wrap is the filling. The difference between a good wrap and a shit wrap is that a good wrap is wrapped like a traditional burrito.
>>
>>7231407
For 22 years my best friend thought burritos were only folded at one end, then I made one for him with two folds and he acted like it was the most amazing food hack ever.

Of course this guy also nearly shot himself when I told him you could save a tone of toilet paper by folding a few slices instead of using a ball.

And then he nearly thought it was the second conning of Jesus when I told him he could wipie like 90% of the water off his body with his hands to make his towels last longer.

Seriously the smartest guy I know, but he is so stuck in routine that the slightest improvement in his life blows his mind. He litterally thinks I'm nearly a genius because I find lazy ways to do things.
>>
>>7231426
Chef Ramsey refused to serve us in favor of yours. We are to find out what he cooked you.

>he could wipie like 90% of the water off his body with his hands to make his towels last longer.
I kind of do this, but your flannel works better than your hands. It's the same flannel you use to wash yourself, because just a bar of soap won't shed dead skin effectively, so it doesn't involve extra work.
>>
>>7232319
Sandwhich is two pieces

Wrap is one

Shut the fuck up and find something more interesting to think about. Maybe find some source of attention other than 4chan.

>>7231473
I bring my own mayo and put it on my bread at lunch just to prevent it getting soggy. Am I the only one who does this here?
>>
>>7231378
No
>>
>>7231607
>gluten free
>>
>>7239409
Still don't get you mean
>>
>>7239733
Instead of wide surface area of folded sqaures, you get a small but unbreakable surface for two fingers or a thumb... or sloppily roll it into an irregular mass using way more than necessary
My family couldn't go through it any faster if we burned it...
>>
>>7231628
No.

Bacon is best when it crumbles into a fine ash the moment you bite it.

Anything else is wrong.
