For some crazy reason the chili dogs in sonic always seemed really appealing
I actually had my first "jelly donut" a long time ago thinking it would be sweet (filled with one of those pickled plums or something) but there was only meat in there. Did not think there were a variety of flavors/fillings for it back then.
The Ramen in Naruto.
>>5830001
Holy crap, me too. I've always wanted to try a chilidog since I watched Sonic as a kid. I have yet to try one.
>>5830175
you've never had a chili dog? not even a bad one? how?
>>5829975
I'll never eat a Kanker Burger through a straw
>>5830221

should I just make one myself?
>>5830258
holy shit those look so fucking good
>>5830258
You'll never eat Chunky Puffs
>>5830266
Nah, they suck. Drunk food at best, but nowhere serves them around the hours you can be drunk and not look like an alcoholic.
>>5830284
These tacos always looked good when I was little
>>5830292
Speaking of, I STILL desperately want to try Eddy's Brother's Armenian Secret Hot Sauce.

>>5830119
Meat? The standard "jelly donut" in the US is filled with a raspberry jelly.
>>5830471
I think they're talking about onigiri, as in OP's pic.
>>5830141
The first time I ate a real, big bowl of ramen I nearly cried giant weeb tears. It was tonktasu ramen, with the egg and onions and nori and everything. It was beautiful.
Actually, there's been a ton of times where I got really hungry watching anime because the food just looks so good. I've made a few dishes so far (curry, onigiri, cute bento). I'd like to try omurice or some kind of hot pot next.
>>5830577
>live in assfuck nowhere, new england
>friend knows an Asian supermarket with a ramen place that is an hour away
>really want to go, put money aside, get hyped
>weeks later, decide for ONE day that I'll go to the beach with some old friends
>get home, 5 missed calls
>"yo call me back immediately, not waiting for you"(actually what he said)
>missed opportunity, both unemployed, will not get that chance for a long time
Fuck ramen and fuck my stupid friend. I still want to bust his ass for it but he's a fucking autist so if I ask wtf brah he'll just act like I'm the asshole

The pizza from the 1987 TMNT animated series.
Idk why but the way it looked, it was soooo cheesy and (I don't think) there was ever any sauce on the pizza.
I think I imagined it tasting like some combination of pure swiss and gouda. It made me salivate as a kid.
>>5830577
Any scene in DBZ where Goku binge eats.
Specifically, when he is on his way to Namek training under high gravity.
>>5830765
Actually, I remember an episode where they ordered a whipped pizza!
So I decided to make it. Honey glazed pizza dough + strawberry sauce + whipped cream
shit was delicious
>>5831048
*whipped cream pizza. durr.
Teletubby toast.
>>5831131
Burger King had a Teletubbies promotion for a while where they had Tubby Custard. I miss that.

> Went to Japan last year
> Went to a Maid Cafe
> Got an omelette exactly like that, with my name written in ketchup and everything.
Holy fuck it was god damn delicious. I don't even know how, since I know there's no real "cooks" in those gimmick cafes like that and all the food was just frozen + microwaved. But it was literally the best egg dish I've ever eaten.
>>>5829975

I heard of a Japanese place that takes layers of meat and cheese and puts it on a bone handle like you see in video games or cartoons.

>those onion rings
>that harpy egg omelette
>>5832200
>using beans in chili meant for a chili dog
No.
The Land Before Time made green food (trees) look fucking delicious as a kid. To this day I pretend when I eat broccoli that I'm a dinosaur eating some motherfucking green food.
Also Little Bear made honey sandwiches and fish stew sound pretty appealing too.
cheesy poofs
>>5832180
>mfw I have that recipe book
Applesnow is pretty fucking good, actually. I make it with ida reds.
>>5832213
tree stars
>>5832213
I wonder if Dinosaur meat tasted good. It probably did, a lot of dinosaurs ate each other.
>>5832130
I love how the 'french fries' are nearly half a potato each
I'd pretty well eat anything that any one of Ash Ketchums cooling travelling buddies would make (Brock, Tracey, Cilan, Iris even though she only gathered fruit, etc.) I wanna know what's up with their food.
And I'd try pokefood for the hell of it too.
brewfest was always my favorite wow holiday event.
i made me want beer so bad. but under-aged and mormon. :(

>>5830292

>>5832265
Holy fucking nostalgia, anon. I always wanted to try that bigass omelette.
>>5832244
>he set her on fire.
>All that remains is a concrete slab.
So they somehow thought it was in good taste to nickname her that on her headstone, directly referencing how she died.
Runner up names probably included
"Ashes to ashes, literally"
"Our sweet little charred burnt Cheeto at the bottom of the bag that nobody wanted"
>>5830288

>>5832527

>>5830258
fucking this, I always got hungry when double d took that bit and it stretched out like a piece of cheese.
>>5832820
I imagine hasperat is like a hummus wrap with baby spinach and peppers, but with some crazy Bajoran ingredient that makes it spicy like they always talk about. I think the spice is in the nose, similar to horseradish or wasabi, and not "hot" like a habanero.
>>5832130
Dude mang that looks awesome
Catstlevania Harmony of Despair had such cute foods, even if it was like, tiny sprites. I had to look up what a quiche and ganache were because I'm an uncultured fuck and I saw them there and needed to know.

Hannibal is a culinary master
>>5830410
Toriko is the only one that comes close but it's anime and way over the top. The measurements they use in that show will make you rage if you have autism or laugh if you have a sense of humor.
>>5836436
I dunno what show you're talking about but in Dutch, kanker means cancer, and it's used like fucking as in "those fucking kids". Burger means citizen, so kankerburger means fucking bourgeois (sort of).
Tom and Jerry
>The episode where the cowboy dude offers Tom some turkey, mash and gravy
>When Jerry goes to town inside the fridge or on the dinner table
>>5836450
Ed Edd n Eddy. Who the fuck watches Dutch cartoons. Kanker is a mispelling of Canker which is the name of the ulcers you get in your mouth. The characters are a constant annoyance to the main characters, hence the name.
>>5836440
That show.
Have mercy on my soul it actually helped me with culinary classes.

Do people actually watch anime? I always thought the existence of white people who are interested in Japan was a ruse. Who the fuck would ever be interested in such a dumb country?

that scene gets me every damn time
>>5829975

gin no sagi, animal husbandry, but it all comes back down to food and farming.
moyasimon, anime about microbes, links often to food.
Food manga is more diverse. I tend to read a lot of it.
>>5830001
Yes, you're mad right?
>>5832151
that's too chunky looking. i'm expecting tha t"beef bowl" to actually be gyudon. i saw a youtube vid with a guy making "beef bowl" and it looked nothing like a gyudon recipe.
>>5837774
That they seemed appealing? No, I'm not sure I've ever had a chili dog before so I can't be disappointed. But if I ever get the chance, my expectations will be pretty high.
also pic related looks amazing
>>5832976

that and the pizza from All Dogs Go to Heaven. Why does cartoon pizza look so good?

Fucker.
I think I hate the Gazer more than the dragon though, because at least there's not a bunch of teleporting involved on the boss's part with our fire-breathing friend. Seriously though, I love the idea of what dragonflesh would taste like, and the harpy egg omelette they show makes my mouth FUCKING WATER every time I see it.

You mean about baking bread and then EXPLODING INTO A NEW GALAXY OF FLAVOUR, TRANSCENDING TIME AND PREVENTING YOUR OWN BIRTH.
It was decent until they spent more time on retarded reactions and Dallas's style dramatic reveals than actual baking.

Denmark.
Our bakeries produce bread and crumbly croissant-style cake, Danish pasty, sometimes muffins and sponge cake.
Closest to a decent Donut is McDonalds.

Anyone else thought that Krabby Patties might taste like white castle burgers since they're so addicting to people in SB?
From Wolf Children.
Can someone tell me exactly what this it?

The second image has Hana dipping it in this delicious looking sauce. This looked so tasty in the film and I always wanted to try making it at home. But I don't know what kind of sauce this is.
Does anyone that knows anything about Japanese cuisine can tell what this is?
Also why are japanese cooking spaces so small? Hana wasn't living in a tiny apartment she was living in a farmhouse.

Just looks like chicken and 3 different colors of bell pepper
Knowing japs the sauce is probably some sort of sweet soy sauce concoction.
Give it a shot, it'd probably only take about 20 minutes to do the whole thing.

no, i actually imagine that krabby patties would taste good.

Egg on Toast shouldn't look this good, even when the bread is a brick.

Simpsons/Futurama always seem to draw their food deliciously. Actually, all food on TV/Movies always seems better than real food...
