Have you learned to wipe your ass with toilet paper and not your hands?
What's some good Indian food for someone who's never had it before?
Al/ck/ has to post in my thread this time edition.
I promised to see Beauty and the Beast at the theater today with my mom but I was too drunk to wake up..
I bet she hates me.

What are the best instant ramen brands? How do you like to jazz it up? Me? I like to use the flavor packet.
Indomie Mi Goreng if you want something cheap
Nongshim Shin Ramyum if you want something more expensive.
I haven't done much exploring outside of the classic chicken maruchan ramen so my word doesn't mean much. But I think Neoguri spicy seafood ramen is really good in terms of instant ramen
How do we fix /ck/?

It's shitty food dating back to the cringeworthy ads of the 1950's. It's not really cooking, is more of "dump an can for BRAND X soup over a can of BRAND X green beans" and then stuck in the oven so mommie could watch TV and gossip instead of actually cook. It's also a favorite for potlucks and similar get-togethers when someone has to bring food but they're too lazy or inept to cook something better.
...at least that's been the exact truth for every incarnation I have never seen. I'm sure it's theoretically possible to make one with good ingredients and actual skill applied to the cooking process, but I've never seen such a thing. I'm also sure those same ingredients could be made in a much better, alternate, preparation.

Is hotdish another word for casserole? If so, some are terrable and some are great drunk food. If any of the ingrediants start with "cream of" just throw that shit away and slap whoever made it.
>>8977954
I make my own all the time with good ingredients.
brown and season some nice thick pork chops while you finish a pot of basmati rice, deglaze the pan with some white wine and make a nice little pan sauce with some onion and a couple cloves of garlic. make your own 'cream of chicken' or whatever with stock, milk or half-n-half and flour. steam some broccoli, carrots, peas. put the pork chops on the bottom of a casserole dish, mix the rice and all the other ingredients together a bowl and season with salt n pepper. and stick that shit in the oven until the pork chops are done.
if you want that extra amerilard flare some shredded cheddar cheese on top toward the end is always an option ;-)
Why is there so much sugar in this shit?
I wanted some of that bitter-tartness of cranberry juice and thought pomegranate sounded fine, too. But when I got home and started drinking it, I realized it has so much sugar that the fruit flavors are ruined underneath. It tastes like a fucking pack of those SweetTart candies. Like, if I blended this shit into a smoothie, I wouldn't even have to add sugar for it to be as sweet as a fast food smoothie.
If people want sugar in their juice, can't they add it themselves? Why does something as simple as juice have to have sugar added before reaching the customer, as though it's assumed I want it?
try the diet version. It has less than 1 gram of sugar per serving.
>>8977570
>diet juice
Jesus Christ, has the world come to this? I just want the amount of sugars that the fruits naturally have, not something where even that's been stripped out and replaced with splenda or some shit.

Get any glass and fill it 1/4 of the way with the juice put a little bit of lemon or lime juice in it and fill it up with water. I had the same problem and this mixture gives me a really tart not too sweet but just sweet enough where I can taste it flavor. bretty gud

What is it about McDonalds that makes it so delicious? Do they put MSG in all their food?
Something in their burgers makes them taste like McDonald's.
I don't know what the fuck it is but you can always tell you're eating a McDonald's burger. Sweet ass white bread buns maybe I don't know but fuck me it's good in a horrible way

Sugar, spices and chemicals
It tastes great but after eating it I get fucking depressed. I used to feel happy and a little high from being stuffed but now I don't get the euphoria. I get some opposite effect of wanting to just cry and die. I'm not even fat.
Making some baba ganoush tonight.
What are y'all cooking?
>>8975943
I've always been curious, how do you make baba ganoush? I know I could google it, but fuck it.
I made black bean burgers, but they fell apart when I tried to flip them. Admittedly didn't chill them though, which is what the cookbook said to do.
They were surprisingly good. Usually I don't feel full after eating vegetarian meals, but I've found a couple now that have done the job.

It's very simple, actually.
Roast some eggplant in the oven until tender.
Scrape out all the meat and stick it in a blender.
Add garlic, lemon, tahini (pine nut condiment), olive oil, S&P.
Blend, bowl, garnish, eat.
I like to throw some radishes in there too for a kick. Blended radish has that nasaly feeling you get when eating horseradish. I also like to garnish with some diced tomato and jalapeno for some flair.
Any good friend chicken recipes? Legit, serious, post.
chickens make shitty friends
nugger hehe
1)get some chicken
2) marinade it in whatever
3) dredge in seasoned flour
4) if you want it extra crispy throw it in an egg wash and back in more flour
5) fry in 350 degree oil until it's done
veeola
for the marinade you can use buttermilk or a brine. one time I used a sweet tea brine and it was pretty good. for the seasoning you can use whatever you want. I use salt, pepper, msg, paprika, mustard powder, and garlic powder. the trick to making it crispy is getting as much flour caked on it as you can without it falling off. when you think you have as much as you can stuck to it let the chicken sit for a while and shake any loose flour off before dropping it in the oil.
I'm so fucking tired of American cuisine being viewed as just hotdogs and hamburgers.
Who cares what they think?
>>8975636
So American food is only food from the South Eastern states?
Stop caring about what people on the internet think you moron. You just make yourself look dumb and gives them even more reason to mock you because they know they're getting a reaction out of it.
What's the best episode of Kitchen Nightmares?
The one where Ramsay lost his temper.
the time where he was wrong about the pizza
Months ago I saw an episode of kitchen nightmares where the chefs instead of work, were putting all the food into the microwave and Gordon got so angry that leaves the restaurant. Oh, and how to forget that episode where a restaurant had a Mexican slave in the basement microwaving food and sending it through an elevator till the kitchen. Certainly all the episodes with microwaves involved are the funniest of all
