Collegefag here going to living somewhere new for an internship. I don't know much about cooking, but I'd like to make most of my meals (if only for budgetary reasons).
How do I get into the swing of cooking, not make dumb purchasing mistakes, and plan effectively?

Same goes for Stella Artois, the Budweiser of the UK literally owned and watered down by the monster called ABInBev. Fuck green bottled beers, they are the perfect example of style over substance.

Green bottles are retarded. The brown bottle prevents more UV from getting through, and skunking the beer. Beck's, Heineken, etc are all shit tasting beers coincidentally.

What's the average amount of time you would cook chicken in a slow cooker on high? Never used one before.

2 hours or less. Once it gets hot it only takes a few minutes. It depends how small you cut it. If you cut it in small chunks, cook it for an hour, see if the pan is bubbling, and then cut a piece open, if it's all white, it's cooked.
