Eat man food, drink man drinks (beer or brown liquor no exceptions), and try not to think about the smell of burly strong men in denim, western shirts, and cowboy hats, or making love to them. That's totally gay and I am DEFINITELY not gay as you can see by my man food and my penis substitute that I carry around at all times, thus proving that I am DEFINITELY straight ok?
>>
>>9403084
You eat it while not getting but fucked.
Da fuck you even asking, nigga?

Are toasted sandwiches a popular home snack in the US? Never see them referenced in pop culture, here is mutton, cheese, mint sauce and gravy.

>>

Yeah the American classic version of that is toasted ham and american cheese. I don't see a lot of mutton being consumed around here, lamb and mint sauce is something you would have at a nice dinner or wedding or something.

Where you from?

Just tried lentils and rice for the first time. This shit is unironically good and so clean tasting. Just fresh steamed rice and lentils with salt, onion, and oil. It took all of 25 minutes to make. I would really like to incorporate more vegan type meals into my meal rotation. Things like this that don't take a long time and a dozen ingredients Share your quick and easy vegan recipes.

I have tons of delicious lentil recipes but I'm not gonna share them with you because you're a vegan faggot.

Rice is cool if you eat at as part of a varied diet, but if you eat it all the time you'll fuck yourself with antinutrients/phytic acid. Try quinoa, millet, potatoes, any starchy vegetable, tempeh, miso, buckwheat, beans, different breads etc. You don't need that much protein unless you work out a lot, so don't worry about a complete amino acid profile all the time. Also, get in some supplements before you turn into one of those scabby zbie vegans.

Why can't I pan fry breaded chicken (or anything else for that matter) without the breading sticking to the bottom of the pan? The amount of oil I use doesn't seem to make a difference.

I threw away the filets from the pan and decided to bake the rest in the oven on a pan and the same fucking thing happened jesus fucking christ.

Cant tell 100% by looking, but did you flower your chicken before egg wash? I don't see any flour.
>>
>>9402834
What sort of pan do you use?

In any case, usually food sticking to the bottom of the pan is more of a temperature issue.
Let your pan heat the oil more before adding in the chicken.

I googled the image in the OP post. I was lazy today and bought target pre-breaded chicken parmesan filets instead of breading them myself.

Can I get a half serious /ck/ opinion on platecuckery? I saw pic related and realised that it's a really fucking good idea. Are there any good points against it? Or any particular foods where you definitely shouldn't eat from the saucepan?

I'm a university student.

I commute 80 minutes to school back and forth and stay for 6+ hours due to inconvenient class times.

I need 3 meals I can take with me each day so I don't starve and can do work without having to commute so much.

What are 3 good meals to prepare and take to school given my situation?

Stir Fry really works well for your situtation. Can be transported easily and contains everything you need for a healthy need. There are buttloads of recipes you could try.

In general, you really should be worried about the potatoes/rice/pasta as everything else can be transported easily. Pickled salad is fairly easy to transport as it often comes in glasses while meat in general can be eaten without any sauce. Mashed potatoes or pasta with Sauerkraut are good sauceless ways to eat this kind of food.

Was America actually good back then, or was it only big because the competition was relatively weak?

>>
>>9402711
Probably cuz of weak competition
>>
Mostly lack of competition.

Prior to the 20th century we were considered a bunch of rowdy farmers that were mostly tolerated because of the natural resources we had for trade.

We didn't become a super power until after the rest of the developed world had its infrastructure and resources ass-raped by two successive world wars.

But now Europe and Asia have rebuilt and the countries that were being kept from developing by colonialism are starting to become bigger economic players.

The gravy train has pulled in to the last stop, we actually have to start trying now.
>>
>>9402711
Back then, Budweiser was actually good, when they didn't use rice in their grain bill and aged it in beechwood casks.

As far as the rest of the country, eh.
