You need to learn how to use the catalog, newfriend.
Sam pineapples?

Good riddance. Wish his nasty invention was getting buried with him.
It's a stereotype that women cook but IRL more than 90% of women I know don't cook at all apart from boiling pasta. But around 50% of the men I know cook regularly. Looking through the top-rated local restaurants, all the head chefs are men.
>>9038758
The 60's and feminism helped kill off female cooking skills, nowadays it is men rediscovering old skills and creating new ones.
>>9038758
It's probably true, when you consider AVERAGE people women cook more than men and probably cook ON AVERAGE better than men. Exceptions exist but in our society men tend to work, while women stay home and run the household.
For professional chefs it doesn't matter at all since it's a career in its own right.
If this angers anyone /pol/ should be more your speed

Where the fuck do you live?
Is Takoyaki supposed to taste like UNCOOKED and SOFT pancake batter mixed with octopus and sauce?
or did the restaurant I first tried them in make them really uncooked and soft
they looked so delicious in anime...
Saw these in haruhi last night and was wondering what they were. how was the taste?
>>9037876
like soft pancake batter with octopus in it and jap flavors
I wish they cooked it more
was the fuck was it so soft though, not good
its not at all like what I expected from watching anime
>>9037862
Jesus, bro.
I bought Takoyaki pre frozen from a grocery store and they tasted a million times better. What was the name of this trainwreck of an establishment?!
Ok ck, got a question.
I love bread, I love makeing it, but my wrists are going to shit, my feet hurt and my back sucks, each one makes making bread by hand a bitch, combined, near impossible.
So im looking at stand mixers and it seems like kitchen aid is the brand to go with.
However those prices are fucking hard to swallow.
Are there any good cheap mixers capable of handling bread and other bullshit in at least 6 cups of shit quantities? Also, because a refurbished kitchenaid mixer seems to cost nearly half price, how use serviceable are they? are parts readily available if I can find what broke, or am I going to jerry rig something/custom order parts?
>>9037502
You might be the first person in history who actually bakes to buy a stand mixer, 99.99% of them are bought to post on instagram
I just use a used bread machine I bought for $10 on craigslist for my kneading. It's got a nonstick interior so I can remove the dough when it's done, and cleanup is super easy (just wipe with a paper towel if that). Also keeps the dough warm enough to rise if I'm baking in the depths of winter and I'm not doing a cold ferment or some such thing, although it's a primitive program (like 2 hours or something like that). I haven't used it for the bake function in a few years but that can be done too, of course.
The brad machine this triggers people who don't actually cook because having a bread machine looks like something that people who don't cook would own, and people who don't cook are desperate for accessories that make it look like they cook. But whatever, I don't have any instagram followers. If you need to worry about those get the KA.

Bread kneading is actually not a big deal, most dirt cheap machines with dough hooks can do them. My £40 mixer kneads well enough (even if it's about as durable as a wet paper bag)

Get the Kitchenaid, and get the good model like you pictured. It's worth the price.
You have 13 seconds to name a better hot sauce.
Umm excuse me?

Remeber your beer etiquette anons. When you are a guest, your favorite kind of beer is free. Your second favorite kind is cold.
I said I was only going to drink two beers, on my fourth now and I wont stop
happy because I'm drinking but feeling like a failure because I couldn't control myself
How much liquor did you drink today?
>>9035567
it always starts with "just one"
fuck i blacked out again last night after starting with just one
How would you improve this hot dog, /ck/?
>>9034906
Either find a smaller sauage or find a longer bun, and constrain the toppings to inside the bun.
>>9034906
hate people who put peppers and vegetables on random food and think it's unique, those don't go on hotdogs. It's retarded.
>>9034906
I'd dice the onion finer. Don't know what's in your chili. Cheese wouldn't be out of the question with what you have going on either.

So I heard you food autists have some kind of a problem with heating water in a microwave. Care to explain yourselves?
>Infusing your clean water directly with microwave radiation
The radiation generated by the microwave oven causes the fluoride in the water to react and form female hormones.
Jet aircraft use the same technology in the skies, but targeted against the clouds. This is what created the faggotization commonly referred to as "millennials".

Do americans really have pubs inside their gas stations? No wonder they have so many drunk drivers.
Ok, so I know that gin-and-tonic and coke-and-gin are apparently publicly accepted drinks. But what about coke-and-tonic? How many people have tried that, and what do you think about it?
who the fuck drinks coke and gin that sounds horrible
>>9042320
I've seen my fellow americans drink coke and scotch whiskey. Fucking savages.
>>9042318
Gin and pepsi max is called a Scroobius after musician/actor Scroobius Pip and is available in some London bars. Never tried at though. May make one at home with cheap gin.
Fuck you. It's delicious
