Last year's 7-Eleven summer promo was questionable...Slurpee-flavored doughnuts. :P But this year I think they scored a hit with these so-called "ultimate straws" for 99 cents. Yeah, I had to get a couple even though they're just plastic tubes. I got them for the amusement value. I'm a tool. And no, I don't work for 7-Eleven. Which is too bad, because every 7-Eleven always has one hot chick working behind the counter that you just wanna bang.

Disagree, few meals are as comfy for me as a medium roast beef sandwich with lots of barbecue and horseradish sauce and a side of curly fries. There's something classic about the simplicity. I have a lot of positive memories associated with the taste though.

I lived in Germany when I was a little kid. One thing that sticks in my memory really well is going to a wild boar roast. They had a whole wild boar on a spit over a wood fire, and the smell is still with me to this day. It was incredible, even for a kid as picky as I was.

Can anyone tell me what kind of seasonings would be used in something like that? Would it be basically just salt, pepper, and paprika?

>>9046659
I don't know about Germany, but in the Southeast USA we usually season our hogs with chili powder, paprika, garlic, salt, pepper, brown sugar, and apple vinegar. Everyone has their own variations of course, but I think these are fairly standard ingredients.
>>
>>9046659
That is haram. Germany does not deal with pork anymore. This is our land and our culture.
>>
>>9046659
You need to prep it like a turkey, rub salt all over the day before and let it rest in fridge. It takes 5-6 hours to roast

it's called decaf what the fuck is wrong with you
>>
>>9046743
Decaf still contains caffeine though, enough that it could make sleeping difficult. Caf-Lib and things like it aren't actually coffee, so they contain zero caffeine.
>>
>>9046743

Can you not even read? That's not coffee, it's a drink made from chicory.

It'd probably be a lot worse fried though

I remember seeing Karl Pilkington eat some on TV, seems like possibly the worst animal product to fry, which is kind of the joke FOP was making. Still, I want to try it just so I can say I have.

Don't most chefs only earn like $40,000?

There's no depth to cooking, so why would you go to school for it? Or am I on mount stupid? Do they teach about restaurant logistics there? Otherwise it seems like a waste of time. I haven't been able to find anything difficult to cook, and I've been looking for years,
