Hey, can anyone please help me figuring out what these plants are? My husband is a passionate cook, and I'm trying to grow veggies in our back yard, so that he can have fresh produce for his creations. Got a bit over -excited and planted too much, and now I'm not sure what's weed, and what's food!
I recommend asking /an/ about this!

Looks like asparagus and Meth.
>>9051722
>my husband and I
Now that that's out of the way, can't quite identify the first one but possibly flat leaf parsley. Second looks like dandeloin.
Just bought this comically tiny cast-iron pot (1/4 of a quart), but I can't find anything about actually cooking in them. I assume it involves messing with the cook time and ingredient size, but do any anons have experience with these?
>>9051689
>1/4 a quart
>One cup pot
Why not just get some coffee mugs?
>>9051689
French onion soup personal or a mini pot pie or whatever else
>>9051940
thats probably exactly what its for. shephards pies, or other types of meat pies
Rate my dinner, /ck/
>homemade pasta from dough I made last week and froze
>beef meatballs with some shallots, garlic and seranno pepper
>kale
>pine nuts and parm
How'd I do?
looks good.
>>9051523
sounds good, but doesn't look remotely appetizing
>>9051539
Not the best plating I've ever done.
Has anyone gone to a buffet restaurant and not shit their soul out later that night?
>>9051507
yes
>>9051507
Of course?
Stop going to shitty buffets or be an autist and bring an IR thermometer to make sure the food is hot enough.
>>9051507
I always get heart attack symptoms after going to a buffet now
still worth tho
Anyone else can't stop buying the cheap, off-brand and store-brand stuff?
I mean, it's not like I need to save my money that much, but I just enjoy it too much. As well as doing shit like saving the grease from a morning bacon sandwich to cook my meat in later that night.
>>9051360
I prefer Essential Everyday to most non generics.
>>9051364
There's something appealing to it that I can't place my fingers on. The past 4 months I've been using Aldis "Norpak" instead of "Lurpak" butter and I'm loving it.
>tfw american grocery stores don't have hot steak and pepper pasties
I miss sainsburys
itt: shit only stupid people buy
>frozen fries
>frozen hamburger patties
>salad dressing
>fat free dairy
>egg whites
>>9051108
Frozen burger patties are the fucking worst. Making a burger isn't hard.
>hurr durr people who buy things i don't like r dum
truffle oil
fines herbs
shredded "cheese"
Is it wrong that I am eating an 8 piece family meal from popeyes in 1 sitting which entails
>large side dish(I got cajun fries)
>4 Bentley of buttery biscuits
>8 pieces of chicken or essentially a whole chicken
I will be eating it with my favorite sauce, Blazin and of course a stout. What is wrong with me?
>>9050882
How fat are you?
>>9050882
You're addicted to food anon. Stop it, get some help.
>>9050882
>What is wrong with me?
You choose to eat fast food instead of cooking for yourself.
What's your opinion on these devices? I'm usually to tired to cook anything when I get back from work and end up eating crap. People recommended this.
It seems likely to me that if you haven't figured out a lazy weeknight meal that isn't crap, a tool like this isn't going to change anything.
I'm usually the one getting lectured by autistic NEETs who are mad that I don't personally nixtamalize my own masa every morning, but I still manage to make some decent lazy bachelor slop every weeknight that isn't "crap". It's not gourmet date night "get me laid" food but I've served it when I had people over a few times and nobody batted an eye, so I must be doing something right.
I don't have anything against gadgets if you have a specific goal in mind but "I bet this is going to fix my life" is, I suspect, a bad bet.

Good for an RV.
Good for people who live in some weird nonpemitted converted studio at the back of some single family property who don't have a real kitchen.
>I'm usually to tired to cook anything when I get back from work and end up eating crap. People recommended this.
Gadgets don't cure laziness, if anything they create work for you to clean by hand. If you are someone who has an energy dump but no issues getting up an hour early to cook, maybe a crock pot, bread machine, or rice cooker appeals to you because you literally set the time for it to be ready. You can buy crock pot liners to toss out, and you can buy nonstick rice cookers that can wipe out or go into the dishwasher.
What might be more your speed is investing in several multi-sized freezer-to-microwave vented containers. Bake a casserole or roast on sunday, when you're not tired, portion out into containers, freeze. Have some quick meals that are easy for you to make. Thin steaks, plus sliced onion, plus loaf of french bread plus au jus packet. Ready in literally 5 minutes. That's one of my quick buy dinner stops at the grocery, skipping the sub counter, I'm hope and eating faster than that line (it's Publix popularity).
I love to make meatloaf, portion into patties on a cookie sheet and bake. Those can be thawed in the microwave, or taken to lunch in a sandwich. Steam some veggies, or rice, or potato. Eventually you have a freezer full of meat, starch, veggie combinations that are fast. Rotisserie chicken plus salad bag plus a pantry full of crunchies, croutons, nuts, dates, etc.

/ck/ i don't come here often but whats your opinion on dating a vegetarian?
Shes vegetarian because she has stomach problems after eating meat, so its not like shes a peta girl.
I almost always have meat with a meal, what are some good vegetarian recipes?
op you should know your wojak/pepe pics will get deleted
the mod doesn't like it
Remember that vegetarians, unlike vegans, can eat dairy.
So you should make something cheesy as fuck or something with eggs like a quiche.
>>9050707
opps sorry, i only come here once in awhile to ask for meatbread/recipes from /tg/
>plz be gentle mr.mod
Is this a thing? Putting fried eggs on top of food?
>>9050362
>is this a thing?
Take a look at your own picture, retard.

Sweet thread, faggot.
What do you think of this baked potato, /ck/? I got it from the cafeteria.
I had them put in every topping they had, but then I noticed some other toppings by the hot dog and hamburger section, so I added jalapeƱos and onions myself. And some hot sauce.
jesus christ
>>9050269
I can't find the potato.
i was with you up until you put an egg on it
What are the personal staple ingredients (so things aside from flour, salt, sugar, etc.) that you keep in your kitchen at all times, and what do you like to do with them in a pinch?
Pic related is one of mine
>>9050247
6 month supply of mi goreng.
>>9050258
How are they compared to ramen, and how do you prepare them?
I had an idea and wanted to see if it worked, so I mixed Velveeta macaroni with Reese's and peanut butter and drank a root beer float with it. Tastes like heaven, highly recommended.
>>9050103
i kinda thought you replaced the pasta with peanuts for a second.
I just finished eating and feel like shit, chugging pepto bismol. I retract my statement.
What does harry potter sauce taste like and where is it used
>>9049589
This stuff makes a bacon sandwich complete.
Also very good with sausages.
Also good mixed in with bubble and squeak (mashed potato and cabbage all fried up).
>>9049589
*Wilson's Gravy
>>9049589
Isn't that stuff just A1 sauce by another name?
