hey /ck/,
just ate one of these caffeinated chocolate bars.
The chocolate was terrible and the whole thing was absolutely overpriced, and I'm sure I could do better. How would you go about making your own caffeinated food, /ck/?
I would drink a lot of covfefe and piss on it
I hit start on my coffee maker
>>9405398
They sell chocolate covered coffee beans which apparently have a lot of caffeine. I've had them before, they're tasty but nothing hits me like a red bull or Pepsi/coke with coffee mixed in or just a coffee works pretty good.
BAM
hotdog
Just gonna put 60 or 70 cloves of garlic in there...
I'm looking for a slow cooker to cook a bunch of food at one time in order to refrigerate it and reheat latter for easy meals. What size of slow cooker should I go for? I'm trying to decide between either a 5 qt slow cooker or a 7 qt slow cooker. The 7 qt slow cooker will obviously let me prepare more food at once but I am wondering if it might actually be too big?
Also, does anyone have any suggestions for good slow cooker cook books for healthy but simple to prepare foods?
>>9405261
I use the Chefman, pic related.
I use it too make bone broth over days. I add my seasonings. Onions, Carrots, Whatever.
I do this regularly.
>>9405312
Did you get the 5 or 7 qt version?
>>9405261
Not sure what the dilemma is here. I am pretty sure you are not obligated to fill a crockpot all the wall to use it. In fact I am making a half pot of BBQ meatballs right now for my brother's cookout.
Unless counter space or price is an issue, just get the larger one so you're covered no matter what.
What dessert should I make to make a guy fall in love with me?
Dessert does not make men fall in love with women
>>9405258
Tender caring, intelligent discussion, and being willing to go out of your way to do things to help him the same way he does for you

I was told that Germany had the best beer. Since moving here I have found that it all tastes like sweet lager piss.
Am I missing something? This swill cannot be what people actually come to the Oktoberfest for is it?
>>9405241
You were told wrong. German beer culture is actually not that big as people think, and that misunderstanding largely comes from certain festivals like oktoberfest.
If you want variety you should go to Belgium.
>>9405241
Ayinger Celebrator Doppelbock. Trust me.
>>9405241
>moved to germany
are you syrian?
You're having teriyaki at the mall. You've already put on hot sauce.

Can frozen pizza be better than real pizza?
No.
I rather eat frozen than anything that comes out of Italy or California but you did specify (real) pizza.
Just purchased a deep fryer. Any suggestions on random fun things to deep fry today? It's my cheat day so anything goes.
>>9405168
Deep fried testicles.

An ice cube.
Mozarella sicks, tator tots
I want to start the most successful pizza chain in the world. Before that I need a single shop. And before that I need to know the basics of pizza.
Where, besides working in a pizza shop, can I learn about pizza ovens, dough, toppings etc?
Pic related, I don't want my pizzas to look like these
>>9405140
These look like shit, american greasy 'pizza' doesnt come even close to the real thing.
>>9405140
This is the internet...
>>9405140
>I want to start the most successful pizza chain in the world.
Your goals are unrealistic. You must have better goals, and success will follow naturally. You need REAL goals, like, "I want to open a pizza restaurant that doesn't bankrupt me and fail within a year". Reach that goal, and then move on to the next one.
Why do Americans think wine is a conspiracy to publicly humiliate them? What makes it unique?
>>9405135
cultural baggage from prohibition I suppose
if you watch old movies, drinking wine is used to symbolize elitism, foreignness, and so on
it's the gastronomic equivalent of slipping on a banana peel. it's long since lost any connection to everyday experiences, but everyone still somehow "knows" that it's a funny thing that could happen
>>9405157
Partially true
On top of this America didnt produce as much wine as beer/liquor for a very long time. It just wasnt as available.
Because of this Wine is viewed as something incredibly Niche. Its getting better though.
>>9405164
we still don't produce that much wine. languedoc's output alone exceeds all of the US combined and that's only 1/3 of france's total output
> consumes 10,000 calories
>>9405071

wtf is this?
>>9405075

Which is better, and what is the difference in taste? Also, is this the best pre-packaged ramen you can get in a typical chain grocery store? I have only ever had top ramen and marachuan. Are these worth the extra money?
>>9405067
>top ramen
>top

>>9405067
You can buy 20 spicy shin ramens on amazon for 16 bucks. That's good enough for me.
>>9405067
they are like a buck each, what are you, poor?
yeah these are worth the money
i always get the top left one, but i would get the top right one if it were available
I've been fighting with and repairing bamboo steamers all my life. They cost about $20 in my area and I repair them twice a year and replace them once a year. Time to move on up. I just bought one of these.
FYI, bamboo steamers are easy to repair with some 2-part epoxy, toothpicks, and bamboo skewers. I just drill holes for the skewers and toothpicks, fill them with epoxy, and insert the skewers and toothpicks. I find it is best to do this before you even use the bamboo steamer the first time instead of for repair. They last 4-5 times longer than normal with hard use.
Do you have any tips for steamers, /ck/?
>>9404979
I like making steamed Japanese purin.

How the fuck do I oven cook frozen fries without it sticking to the bottom? I don't want to grease the pan up because of those extra calories nigga.
>>9404976
I just put them on foil. They "stick" somewhat, but you can just pry them off no problemo. I've never needed to grease anything.
I use the shitty ore-ida crinkle fries btw
>>9404976
Stand them upright.
