Tell me your marinara secrets.
tomatos
don't use any onion, only garlic
only add enough olive oil to coat the garlic
fresh basil >>> any other herb for marinara imo but oregano and thyme work decently too
if your tomatoes are more acidic than sweet adding a little sugar isn't the absolute worst

How hard is it to make sushi at home?
Do I need any special cooking tools?
probably need a knife
>>9409923
I meant things you don't find in the home kitchen.
>>9409919
It's really easy, you just have to have the right ingredients for what you want to make. The only tool you might want is one of those bamboo sushi mats.
Just had beef Wellington for dinner.
And you?
>>9409849
It's game day. Gonna have hot ham n' rolls, and a bunch of beer.

Vegetable stir fry for dinner. Yum yum.
I am from The South so I make tea a gallon at a time. I heat up a med saucepan of water to just under boiling and put in four double-tea-bags. I dip and gently stir it until I'm satisfied with the dark color. I put one cup of sugar in the gallon pitcher. I hear so many others put in two or more, but that's just way too much. I then pour the hot tea over the sugar melting it some. Stir that up good then fill the rest of the pitcher with cold water. Put it in the fridge to finish getting colder. I don't really care for ice and only rarely like lemon in my tea.
>>9409848
The same except I don't use sugar
People add lemon juice to add lemon flavor right? Is there anything I can add for mango flavor?
>>9409885
I would think a quarter cup of mango juice would do it.
I have a bag of something a Nigerian roomate left behind, 'Ijebu Gari'. Looks like a kind of coarse white/yellow powder. A quick google turns up some stuff about drinking it, or straight up eating it raw, but on the back it specifically says "Do not eat raw". What is it, how do I prepare it?
Throw it in the garbage
It's like porridge afaik, just soak it in water and add honey, suger or whatever you like
>>9409813
>a quick Google search tell you exactly what it is with suggestions on how best to cook and serve it
ftfy.
I can only assume your search engine is as retarded as you are.

I had one of these the other day and it didn't taste anything like I remember. Is it the corn syrup use instead of actual sugar? This used to be one of my favorite cookies.
A Newton is fruit and cake tho
Those used to send me to heaven, I dont get them anymore. Did try it a few times, sure they were "good"... but...
I think Im with you OP.
No you just grew up, not figuratively but literally, you have more taste buds now than you did when you were a kid, thus it takes more than simply a bit of fat, sugar, and salt in any bland ass form to impress you
I used to be the same way about those, and Nilla Wafers, literally anything with butter salt and sugar tastes like heaven to a kid, these things still taste good as an adult but it isn't quite so simple
Time to cook up one of these gourmet burgers!
@9409681

Preheating the oven for some french fries!
>>9409684
Didn't actually cook them last time. Trying them out today.
While the oven preheats, some dishes need to be cleaned!
