Living with my family currently. They don't now enough about healthy diets or nutrition. I buy the good food that I need, but I'm often tempted by their shitty processed food. Sugar can be an addiction just like any other drug. I hope I have the willpower to cut out all non-natural sugars someday.

Currently down 40 lbs from cutting sugar/carbs. I miss fried chicken and hamburger/hot dog buns so much but this is the only diet that quells my appetite so I won't eat everything in my house

I tend to feel limited with just one pot and one pan, you might want to consider grabbing two of each so you can make sauces while boiling potatoes or things like that.
Don't overspend on knives, buy cheap ones at goodwill and sharpen them properly if budget is a concern at all, which it tends to be in your first kitchen.
A really large pot for stock or soups is handy.
Lots of tupperware for storing shit and making lunch boxes.
Cutting boards, have enough so you can separate chicken, fish and vegetables at least.
Then there's all the tiny shit you forget to buy but you realise you need when you need it; potato peelers, measuring cups and jugs, box graters, wooden spoons, ladles, things like that.
When it comes to appliances, skip the microwave and go for a toaster oven if you desperately need something. Your workplace probably has a microwave for your lunchboxes.
Kettles are handy for quickly boiling pasta water.

I lost a load of wright by calorie counting. I literally cut out snacking and just had 3 meals a day. Porridge oats for breakfast, light salad with chicken for lunch. Meat and veg/salad for dinner. Cut out bread, chocolate and soda. The pounds will drop off. Fuck doing any crazy fasting, it just makes relapsing easier.

I never really get them. Not that I don't like them, but pretty much any place that has calzones is guaranteed to have pizza. I always choose pizza.

My favorite pizza place makes killer calzones. I always order one. Sauce, ricotta, mozzarella, salami, pepperoni, olives, and mushrooms. Heaven.
They also make a veggie calzone that has ricotta, mozzarella, olives, mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, roasted red peppers, and roasted garlic that's pretty fucking good too.
