What does /ck/ think of Starbucks
They sell coffee.
Charbucks. Their coffee is very fragrant, but it's kinda bitter as a result of their overroasted beans. Usually it's not a problem for most people who order their coffee flavored milkshakes. If I get a gift card to a Discount Store like Target, I will buy several 5 dollar gift cards with it, and register for a birthday/join reward on each one, making sure to get a 14 dollar drink each time I redeem it. Other than that, it's a pass.
/ck/ thinks Starbucks is a luxury coffee shop reserved exclusively for the coolest hipsters in town. They often go there to be seen, drinking confusing new drinks like the cappacheeno or whatever, whilst ostentatiously using Apple brand electronics to advocate for radical ideas on the internet, like the notion that women are people or that slavery happened. /ck/ doesn't like it because they force you to say happy holidays instead of merry christmas and also something something the gays
Normal people think Starbucks is basically McDonalds but for coffee. Beyond that there's not much to say. You don't go to these places for the quality products, you go there because you had to get up at 3 to catch a 6 am flight and McDonalds/Starbucks are the only things in the terminal that are open
What's your favorite sandwich and why is the Reuben?
something about the saurkraut paired with sweet, tangy salad dressing just works pefectly.
>>9141829
It MUST be served on marbled rye though
>>9141832
nope. the color of the bread is not an elemental factor.
Any of you guys eat the pizza from Whole Foods?
I saw someone leaving with a whole pizza and wondered if it was any good.

No. I'd rather not spend $10 per slice of pizza.
Favorite Coffee Mug?
>>9137889
My parents just brought a bunch of my old, favorite mugs when they just visited me. I fucking love coffee mugs. I shall post some tomorrow to keep this thread bumped. Idk why, but I love a good coffee mug. They have a soft spot in my heart.
Hey /ck/ what do you think of my pokey stix?
>>9137567

gumby's pizza is so fuckin good. Loved that shit when i was at VT.
What are you most ashamed of having eaten, anon?
cock
I thought about this for a good 30 seconds and drew a blank. Certainly some things I've eaten were regrettable. Many things I've eaten, I'd rather not eat again. But I am not ashamed of anything I have eaten.
I guess maybe that means I don't have a dysfunctional relationship with food?

Wolf. At least it was already dead.
Other than
>befriend your butcher
What's the cheapest way to get the meaty bones for a good beef stock? Chicken's easy enough to get parts and debone, but I've resorted to things like saving my bones off good steaks, buying marrow bones from the chinese grocery, or 2-dollar flap steaks when marked down.
There's got to be a simpler way. Any cheap cuts to request the grocery store butcher counter to order?
>>9148885
I buy a rotisserie chicken. Usually have two meals with chicken breast and green beans. Then I pick the rest of the meat, make a quick stock with carcass, then a soup. 3-4 meals off $10 works for me.
>>9148919
right but OP wants to make beef stock.
>>9148885
I'd combine marrow bones with beef shank
/ck/, what's the cheapest, yet most filling things me and two other friends can eat for a LAN party
>inb4 ramen
>>9148737
Bulk rice and beans. Get pounds of food each for a dollar per.
Popcorn from raw. Not so filling but you can eat a lot of it. Also adding sugar makes it more filling
>>9148749
That sounds so fun also. Bigtime party food imo.
>consuming alcohol for the taste
Why?
I consume alcohol to get drunk.

When you buy something other than bottom shelf garbage, it can taste good.

If you thawed it normally you can freeze it again Im fairly certain.

That's how my wife's son's dad serves me dinner in my cuck shed. Just looking at this pic gives me a boner, it reminds me of weekend nights when I hear my wife's moaning and sexy talk coming from the window across the yeard while I play old Gameboy games.
Polite warning to all of my fellow cu/ck/s out there. I had the following very poor experience on Friday night and thought I would share.
>make dinner plans with a friend I haven't seen since junior college
>decide to drive to the other part of town, a solid 14-16 minutes away to try a new Chinese Buffett
>$16.99/person
>they have shrimp but don't serve chilled wine
>have a great time and four plates of food catching up
>on the drive home I was overcome with hunger
I had to stop at local A&W root beer for two hot dogs and I devoured them immediately. I've had horrible gas the past two days and I've considered calling the health inspector. What the fuck did they do to me?
Msg
>go to buffet
>doesn't eat till he's full
your fault
your own dirty habbits did that to you
I'm going to Las Vegas next month and I'm thinking about trying out the Heart Attack Grill. Has anyone on here been there? Is it worth checking out? Is the food actually good or is it just all about the gimmick? Is there anything in particular I should try?
>>9148873
I live here, but I admittedly haven't been. However, the reputation it has from people that have gone is that it's completely overrated. A cheesy novelty that isn't even that novel.
It's also a little irritating to get to, unless you're staying downtown (downtown and the Strip are not the same thing), because it's in the Fremont Street experience, which is just full of older people and hipster bars in the other direction. The hipster bars aren't bad, but they're used more by locals.
I'd skip it, but maybe I'm just jaded since I live here. A lot better food to be had in Vegas.
>>9148888
QUADS
But I am definitely going to explore Fremont Street more this time, instead of just hanging out mostly on the strip like usual. This place just intrigued me, but yeah I'm going to be eating at a lot of great places out there and wasn't sure if this would be worth having a meal at or not.
It's hilarious that cooking in lard is considered comically dangerous while every fatass faggot is dying from diabetes from all the fucking bread and vegetable oil they eat
