Whats everyones oven wedges recipies? Obv salt and pepper with olive oil, but i like a little chilli flakes with garlic and paprika
>>9422066
Definitely skin-on, but parmesan, basil, oregano, and garlic is your money wedge.
I usually infuse the olive oil with garlic and hot pepper flavor by holding on low for 30 minutes. Meanwhile I soak the wedges in ice water for 30 minutes, dry thoroughly and coat in the oil and bake at 450F for 15 minutes then turn them and go another 15 minutes. I salt and pepper them when I pull from the oven.

er why do you soak the wedges
What to do with a cut apart chicken?
I'm used to buying cheap, frozen, skinless boneless chicken thighs in a 3lb bag and cutting them into thin strips for a stir fry or something, but I'm looking to up my game so I want to see how much money I can save and flavor I can pull out of a full chicken I cut apart myself.
This is new territory for me, and other than using the carcass in a soup I don't know what to do with just two legs, two wings, etc, and I need to cook for 3 people. The amount of thighs I normally cook with can't be pulled out of one chicken. Suggestions? I'm looking to use up all of the chicken, so either multiple recipes or one that uses all of the bits would be cool.
roast it and eat it with your hands like a king

>carcass and wings
Use for chicken stock and sandwich / taco / enchilada / tortellini / ravioli meat. Bring water to a boil, add the carcass and wings, reduce to simmer and cook for 30 minutes. Then pull the wings and carcass out and strip all the meat and set aside. Toss the bones back in the pot and simmer for at least 3 hours.
>drumsticks
Use for a chicken curry.
>thighs
Use for chicken gumbo or jambalaya
Thoughts on bread+butter+ketchup?
I personally like ketchup sandwiches, am I a degenerate?

Why are these little fucks so hard to find? You'd think they'd be THE candy of all the "le 90s kids" that watched E.T.
Almost 9 times out of 10 I walk into a gas station to be disappointed. I see the candy shelf lined with reese's peanut butter cups, king size, minis, different texture/consistency (like crunchy) cups, reese's candy bar, etc etc and then not a single bag or box of pieces. Yet you see fucking m&m's have basically an entire shelf to themselves with all their different flavors.
The only place in my county that has them, is Walmart, and 2/5 movie theaters. I'm tired of driving 10 miles to get a single box of candy. Fuck these bastards.

Where do you live that Reese's Pieces are hard to find? I live in a suburb of Chicago and literally every store that sells candy has them.
Plants are food. You can grow your own plants.
How fares your garden so far, /ck/?
I've got a ton of chili peppers, onions, figs, and cucumbers this year. Unfortunately, the tomatoes have had their worst crop. Only two tomato plants have been productive while the rest have had 1-2 tomatoes. Grapes are doing okay, but we've had a lot of Japanese beetles tearing away at the leaves.
I'm also going to experiment a bit with hydroponics and pepper grafting.

yeah, if you're a rabbit!
/hgm/ here,
My beds look shitty thanks to my butterfly/moth infestation. Irma did me no favors.
I have a bunch of radishes and mustard started, while my broccoli sprouts died.
I have some tomatoes and tomatillos, but they're showing signs of blight and cutworm damage. Cucumbers are young and beautiful.
I'm starting a new batch of seeds now!

Cereal of your preference? For me it's Honey Nut Cheerios (HNC), I eat them with milk and sliced banana in the mix, makes for a nice oatworthy breakfast for me when not feeling like a hot breakfast, little sweety too, even Buzzbee the bee wouldn't dare stop me from eating this when I feel like having it
I could eat a whole box of these. They're even better when you pour milk onto them.
I exclusively eat Malt-O-Meal products.
I love me some fruity pebbles or cocoa krispies
The bosses need that report. >I'm gonna need you to work through lunch Anon.

Stop eating meat
Eating high quality meat and fish occasionaly is clearly the superior choice.
Murder does taste delicious, Morrissey. And you were far from the best member in The Smiths, both Rourke and Marr were better and you were as good as Joyce.

Made a low-effort pizza with shitty dough mix and shitty expired cheese that was on sale.
Total cost: ~$3.50
What say you, /ck/?
If it doesn't make you ill after you eat it I'd say you were onto a winner.
Ah, that perfect browning! You'd swear it was from a local pizzeria!

Are carrots the best veggie to eat raw?
Pic related for me. A carrot is fine, too.
Paprika is also best raw
Lettuce too
Also cucumber is best raw
