Has anyone else noticed that the congestion at McDonald's drivethroughs is often caused by normies ordering retarded shit? Like who the fuck orders an ice cream or a milkshake at mcdonalds? Go to a fucking ice cream store. Men like me are trying to order REAL food like a mcdouble or a mcchicken
>>9211527
things that hold up fast food lines:
>anything that gets fried
if they just ran out and didn't start making more in time, you're fucked.
>>9211527
I mean if they're ONLY buying ice cream from the drive thru than they are a cunt
>people who order 1 easily-made item are the ones holding up the line
>not the autistic landwhales who order 17 different items, each with a weirdly-specific alteration
Food things only you do.
Whenever the mayo is done, I put a bit of hot water in the jar, cover the lid and shake to get all the left over bits, then drink up. What are some food things that you only do /ck/?
That's disgusting
This
Uhh. Let me think.
I eat sushi with wasabi, i'm the only person within my social circle that does that.
I eat sambal badjak with pretty much everything. Soupe, hotdogs, french fries, etc.
I use maggie on my kapsalon.
Hi /ck/! Please recommend me good books about food.
I'll kick things off with Salt Sugar Fat which is all about processed food and the endless search for the "bliss point." I learned quite a bit about how processed food is developed and marketed. The most interesting part of the book in my opinion is when the author is invited to taste test all kinds of processed foods with key ingredients missing, for example Goldfish with no salt (which apparently is horrible). It just goes to show how carefully calibrated processed foods are and how it's difficult to create healthy alternatives while maintaining good taste and good sales. This book is like a better version of "Fast Food Nation." I'd recommend it to anyone who eats processed food (AKA all of /ck/ lol). It's also worth mentioning that the book isn't moralizing, just informational.
So how bout you? Read anything good lately?

Anything edible counts, right anon?
"The Ultramind Solution" by Mark Hymann got me to really clean up my diet. You have to read it with a discerning mind as his claims on autisium are a little off.
Sometimes I feel like I need to write a book myself on habits & cleaning up ones diet. I eat cleaner than anyone I know and I get sick of all the myths or excuses people throw at me, 90% being mental.
I do suspect that having processed food, food engineered for taste, blunts your tastebuds; Rendering them unable to taste the natural flavor of real food. It was certainly true for me. It took me months before I went from mildly enjoying my diet to immensely enjoying it.
Hey /ck/, my mom recently tried a lemon square on her trip to america and thought they were great, which is why I'd like to surprise her with a batch of my own. Trouble is, lemons aren't easily obtained in my country, is it okay to substitute lime juice for lemon?
Also, general /baking/ thread, I guess.
no
it makes mustard gas
>>9211328
No. You surely could make something tasty using lime, but it wouldn't be lemon squares.
What god forsaken country does not have access to lemons?
What do I substitute for worstershire sauce?

Chili's has good tendies. The girl who. Works there always gives me 2 extra tendies. It takes so much willpower not to whip my cock out and stroke it for her
How can I up my pasta game? I made the sauce from scratch and I feel like I have a solid concept of the basics, where do I go from here? Pic related, I made this today.
You can stop making your pasta sideways, for one.
>>9210798
Depends I guess, how'd you do your sauce?
>>9210802
this. I would seriously consider horizontal surfaces.
I've been using chili in a slow cooker to make one meal last a week. In doing so I've been trying to turn chili cooking into a sort of zen practice. Refining my recipe with each go. I want to source some opinions, and just plain talk about chili.
Specifically what I want to know is what sort of beef/sausage mix to go with. And what sort of wine to cook use. I've tried ales lagers and stouts and found pale ales and ipas pair well with bratwurst. Now I'm mixing it up.
>Yellow cherry tomatoes
>4 Roma tomatoes

>>9210773
Like you just leave the crock pot on for a week at a time?
>>9210784
No, I just save it and reheat it.
>>9210789
You reheat the crockpot?
how do you guys like your fries?
>>9210752
Hot, dipped in cold ketchup
>>9210752
with cheese + gravy
Mom used to make them with cold yoghurt (Bulgarian, no sugary shit) and garlic. Best thing ever
So, what are you eating, /ck/? Pic related is for lunch
>>9210646
Looks good! I'm not eating anything, cutting at the moment
>>9210672
I am on a diet, too. I get 2200 calories a day to lose around 3 pounds a week. That pic is about 1000-1100 calories total
>>9210646
Cottage pie. Your meal looks delicious
Really makes you think ...
So what makes a burger unhealthy is the sesame seeds, got it. No more sesame seed buns for me.
>>9210416
The only thing this makes me think is:
"I've seen this silly thread before". Hidden.
and
Oh look, yet another person managed to misunderstand that quote.

How would you improve this tostada, /ck/?
*throws it in the trash*
There, it's improved. What do you think about that, big boy?
>>9210255
order something different
>>9210255
Concept seems OK. The quality of the ingredients looks like shit though.
This looks fucking gross.

When I make shitty coffee, I like to put instant hot chocolate to it like a huge fucking man-baby.
>>9210041
Make coffee out of good quality locally roasted beans in a burr grinder. Use plenty of grounds. Use a French press. Don't add anything to coffee.

Anybody ever use any of these soda makers? I feel like the possibilities would be endless, the power to turn anything into soda? Bubbly mouth feel automatically? I would carbonate lemonade, iced tea, etc, re create the classic recipe formulas for original Coke, etc etc
>>9209905
I got one. They're reasonably priced for all the syrups and o2 containers. It's no red bull or coke, but it's cheaper imo.
drinking soda is cucked as fuck to be honest with you.
true redpilled alphas like myself only drink single malt whiskey and water.
>>9209905
I've never used that brand. I don't see the point--expensive as fuck proprietary refills are pretty stupid. Pic related has been around for decades if not a century and uses cheap easily found refills.
But yeah, with either one you could carbonate anything. And this will really blow your mind: If you get the kind with the larger diameter top, usually intended for making whipped desserts, then you can carbonate fruit or other foods inside.
