Do these ever lie?
>>9220150
Once in a while, but usually followed recalls and lawsuits. There are entire businesses designed around catching people lying on these to make a court case.
going to make burgers at home for the first time
should i use butter at the end?
some tips lads please
>>9220147
grind your own meat or let your butcher do it fresh, 80/20 lean/fat is good
get good buns and general produce (tomato, lettuce and onion)
donĀ“t mash your meat let it a bit loose, grill or fry in cast iron, flip wenn the side "greys" a bit.
grill buns with a bit of butter when the meat is nearly done.
with good quality ingredients less is more.
>>9220183
This is some good tips.
Don't forget to season the meat as well. Really a boils down to your preference but I use salt pepper at the very least. Sometimes accompanied with onion powder and garlic powder and personally I like a couple splashes of Worcestershire and some cilantro.

Nothing can compete with the coco wheat
I love making this stuff on cold winter mornings. Makes me poop real nice too.
>>9220034
What? Is this like cream of wheat with coco?
>>9220034
I used to eat this for breakfast sometimes as a kid. My mom would put sugar and butter in it and it was fucking delicious. No wonder I am so fat now.
What can one do with carrots? Any recommendations?
You can eat them, use them as a makeshift dildo, or plug a hole in a boat.

But I don't like pleasure from my butt.

I'm looking to cook most of my meals, fairly healthy and fairly cheap. Is a BJs/Costco or similar wholesale store membership worth it? Would I save money and get good quality? My company also grants me a discounted rate with BJs, reducing it to $30/yr.
>>9219758
$30/ year? Probably a good deal. A can of top-brand soup costs maybe $2 or $3, right? So, would you buy 10 or 15 cans of soup in a year? If so, you're probably coming out ahead.
>>9219758
Say you spend $1500 a year on groceries. I'm sure with all those purchases you could find a way to save $30. Also the gas is cheaper typically so that's a plus
Not at all. Literally everything is cheaper elsewhere. I don't get how these place keep afloat. I went with a friend to Costco once to buy toilet paper because I wanted to stock up. The pack of 18 Charmin mega rolls was $3 more than the same quantity at Target, so I left and went there instead.
I've tried Costco in the past and was never wowed by the prices so when it came time to renew membership, I just let it expire. Having to pay them for the privilege of giving them my money for the same goods I could get cheaper elsewhere without a pay-membership doesn't seem like a good deal to me. Fuck that noise.
Although, I seem to recall that gas seemed cheap there back then but I didn't have a car at the time so never got to take advantage of that.

I actually like this stuff. Not the cheese one mind you, but the regular chicken flavor.
If Mexican-Americans were a country, would Tex-Mex be our national cuisine?
Is a new nation rising?
you'd still have to go back
>>9219523
Why should this be considered its own cuisine? It's just wheat and tomatoes. Nothing special.
>>9219523
Son I was texmexin in AZ before you were born. It's not new. Just new to you.
So today I popped down to my local Morrisons and got myself a pineapple and ham pizza from the freshly made counter. baked to instruction but when it came out, damn that stuff was disgusting; dough had no flavour whatsoever, pineapples and sauce were overly acidic and the ham was just bland. Been a long time since I had a supermarket pizza and it seems that the quality has slipped even more.
Don't bet your lunch to one of those, you might as well get a rustlers burger and do that instead
you got a ham and pineapple pizza, you deserve worse than you got

that is a pork picnic shoulder dumkopf
I love cooking those, and they on sale for .79 per lb.
Cook it on 200 for like 6 hours, then roast the bitch at like 500 rotating every 10 minutes, for 40 minutes.
It is essentially a non hammified ham, a pre ham if you will.
Some companies use a nasty brine in the package, avoid those companies with a nitrate solution in the bag (winco)
