Two people can follow the same recipe and come out with a totally different final product. Cutting vegetables properly for the application, good heat management, ingredient selection, presentation, etc will give you a better final product than someone who has very little experience cooking

i worked at this sandwich shop in college and we also served ice cream. everybody said it was the tastiest shit they'd ever had EVEN THOUGH IT WAS FUCKING KEMPS because 1. it was a tiny-ass town and 2. we were the only place that served ice cream

and you know what the hardest fucking flavor to scoop was? mint. fucking. chocolate. chip.

not only does kemps call it fucking peppermint bon bon instead of mint chip, IT NEVER FUCKING GETS SOFT. IT HURTS YOUR TEETH EITHER DUE TO THE COLD OR DUE TO DUMB MOTHERFUCKERS TRYING TO BITE IT

and everybody always fuckin wanted a scoop of it and during an ice cream rush the group of 5 people who all wanted double scoops of mint chip took 6 or 7 minutes when we had a line out the god damn door
