No, adding a delivery service to your business will always cost money.
>>
>>9430982
We set up our own delivery company because our shit town didn't have one we could join up with.

You could find a computer wiz kid willing to set up a website with a menu checkout system for little money or just give them nontransferable free food gift certificates for your place to cut costs...

Probably not but most business model assume you'll sell enough more to turn a profit on it anyway

Made some bread dough last night before sleeping, let it rise and put it in the the fridge after am hour or so. This morning I took half and baked it and it was alright, except with a very light fermented beer-ish flavor that I didn't mind and actually enjoyed a bit. That was like 6 hours ago. Now I took it out of the fridge to bake them other half of and the fermented smell is stronger and after taking it out of the bowl I saw it's had these things underneath where it touched their plastic of the bowl. What's that? Is it still edible? Do I dump that and make another batch?

The flourish came wit the yeast incorporated, it was one of those "just add water" things that I've always used but never had a batch of dough sit there this long until now.

>>

I usually don't bother, honestly. Fresh salmon is so good already that trying to marinade it isn't super necessary? But I'll often use a mustard or lemon or butter sauce with them.

Anyone here like cooking with Crisco? I just started experimenting with it this week and it is awesome. High heat oil, higher than normal cooking oil it seems like. Pan frying stuff in it is great. You can jack the heat up and get a good sear on basically everything. It also has a pretty neutral flavor. Basically every other common oil has a distinct flavor to it. Shortening has flavor too but it is very faint compared to something like butter or olive oil. Also by being a solid it is pretty easy to measure; i will never splash too much in. I suggest you try itt out if you haven't. Probably pretty bad for you but it can't be worse than butter right?

My mom likes using the crisco sticks in her cookies. They are basically crisco in a can. You just add a little water to equal butter.
>>
>>9429660
I like butter too, but you can't flash fry in butter. Plus why would i want to cook something like snowpeas in butter?

I am jealous of Commonwealth pie culture.

Us Americans forgot, by and large. A big central European influence in certain places for our meaty bread fix. An empanada here and there, but that's not gonna get you through a day of mining coal.

Bring back meat pies, it's our birth right!
