Looks good so far but the meat needs to pull further away from the rib tips. Bone should be at least 1/2 inch exposed (see pic) What did you rub with?

I've had original and Cacao. At firsr, Original was really hard to swallow and I nearly threw up after a normal day of eating, but the taste kind of grows on you. It tastes like what a roll of paper towels turned into a batter would. Cacao is a massive step up, however. Tastes like chocolate ensure or a very shittily made chocolate malt.

This. If I'm going to be cooking something frozen I take it out of the freezer and stick it in the fridge a day or two before I will be using it.

I can taste them, it really depends on how fried your tastebuds are. I have some friends who work in a dust filled factory and they can't taste anything from inhaling dust all day. I can taste them, though.
