Piggy!
I'm going to go there today and get a pepperoni calzone and a couple prbs.
>>9321191
Overpriced and if you are just getting pepperoni you are doing it wrong. You go to MM to try their "exotic" meme topping combos like feta & bleu cheese, shiitake mushrooms, black truffle oil, caramelized onions, sun-dried roasted tomatoes, etc.
get the mushroom, its the tits, overpriced as fuck though.
>>9321191
Used to go there before they closed the only one anywhere near me. They were the only company that offered v*gan options.
They overprice for a small, shitty pizza and almost ALL the toppings are undercooked.
Also found a piece of chicken on the pizza, which wouldn't have bothered me so much if they were a regular restaurant but by explicitly catering to vegans and making it a part of their allure, it means they fucked up bad.
I found this in an 80s Japanese commercial:

Ten pounds of butter and wash it down with some diet coke

Your favorite foods, spend a little extra and go out to a nice restaurant for one of them. Just because you're cheating doesn't mean you need to bang all the 2s and 3s you see
your waifus mare juice
What do you think of street food, /ck/?
Like? Hate?
Is it the best way to meet a country's cuisine or is it a meme?
>>9321010
Eaten a lot of Chinese and Thai street food, and it was mostly damn good.
Only got ill once in Thailand when I ordered something with a runny egg at 4am.
Had a variety of barbecued street foods in Cebu, Philippines. The one I loves the most was their grilled pork
I also tried alot of street food in Malacca, Malaysia and had a bunch of noodle soups that tasted great
>Hate?
I didn't dislike anything, but I couldn't eat anything with boiled eggs as I don't like egg yolks in general
>Is it the best way to meet a country's cuisine or is it a meme
It's not the best way to meet a cuisine. I suggest you visit a well known restaurant that serves authentic food
>>9321010
when i went to vietnam with a friend that was born there i found that there's some foods that are best from a streetfood place, but if you want to try as much of the cuisine as possible, you'll just have to do your research and visit good restaurants too.
Okay /ck/ so I am curious. Which is the better tortilla, corn or flour based? Or better yet when is one a superior option over the other?
>>9320937
could you rephrase the question?
>>9320937
It's gonna depend on what you got. If you have a shitty "Corn" tortilla, flour by far. Corn is more traditional though, and if you have a properly made one, made out of actual fucking masa, it has a much better and more distinctive flavor
There is room in my heart for both.
Corn is indisputably superior when it's freshly made. After like 30 minutes though, flour is better. That's why flyovers hate corn tortillas, they never cook so their only experience of them is stale shit from a bag.

Alright so I've been trying to be a little healthier and shed some pounds. While changing my meal habits has been fairly easy, it is the snacking that's torturing me.
I found that replacing pita and potato chips with cucumbers is the best I've done. I don't particularly like baby carrots that much. Any recs?
>>9320712
Radishes, grapes, strawberries
Anything you can just grab a couple of easy enough
pop corn is definitely not healthy but it satisfies that "i just want to crunch stuff" urge. crushed ice too
celery is alright, but flavorless. can be made edible with toppings of varying caloric density - peanut butter, cheese crumbles, a thin line of balsamic vinegar etc
>>9320712
Snack tomatoes are my go to. And I don't like them much myself, but I know someone who likes to snack on a stalk of celery. You can't get much lower in calories than that.

Have any of you tried psychadelic drugs in an attempt to remove the need for alcohol? Heard that it might help you to get to the bottom of your problems.

I don't usually drink when I'm on shrooms but I'm not actually an alcoholic, I just like to drink a bit

I tried shrooms because I had been drinking too much and it had started to make me feel bad. I hated the trip but it made it impossible to get drunk for some days afterward. I drank a few beers the nights after but it didn't taste good. I felt sick after just a couple! It might actually be a way out.

His jokes are great. A mixture of absolutely raunchy and cheesy.
I don't let my kids watch Chef John videos because of that. His singsong voice is entertaining to kids, but sometimes he'll throw in a masturbation joke.
