Rinse thoroughly, soak for 20 min. Makes any rice better. Cook with lime juice and chopped cilantro. If the meat is marinated in line though you might skip that for rice.

So I took my first stab at making wine. It was a fruit wine I made with a bunch of cherry plums I grew. Now I started with an og of about 1.070 now 10 days later I have racked it to carboys and when I test it its coming up with a gravity reading of .95 I didn't think it was supposed to drop that fast. Did I do it right? Am I gonna be alright?

That's a pretty low starting gravity for wine so it's easily possible it finished out within 10 days. What kind of yeast did you use? I usually shoot for 1.095 -1.110 with my blueberry using Lavlin EC1118. It takes anywhere from 1-2 months to get to .990 FG. Pic related, these have been fermenting for a little over 3 weeks in these secondaries and it's still going. Probably rack again in a few days.

I was using the same yeast as you. It was pretty warm so maybe it went crazy or something. Not too sure but it was reading around what dessert wine should be on my hydrometer so I figure for sure it was almost too sugary.

I'm about to have Shake Shack burger in 1 hour. I'm not a hipster, nor am I a yuppie, so I was never exposed or able to afford this kind of burger. The best burger I've had is a big mac.

Where do you guys get recipe ideas from? I was introduced to Life of Boris on youtube and thought what he was doing was pretty easy looking. Now i'm cooking up Slav food pretty regularly making things like pic related, Kompot, and Kotlets.

Are there any restaurants which serve actual foods rich in animal fats?

Everywhere you go it seems like cuts of meat are lean to the point of tasting like flavorless rubber, butter is replaced by vegetable oils and garlic butter, and all saturated fats are culled from the ingredients.

For example I looked up Subway's steak and cheese sub and it is somehow less than 1/4 of its calories from fat. How can you possibly make a sandwich where the primary ingredients and beef and cheese and have that little fat? They had to intentionally go well out of their way to eliminate it.

I'm tired of this shit. Why is the nutrition establishment filled with Jews who want whites to keep eating high carb diets and stay malnourished, underfed, ill, obese, acne-ridden, infertile, full of degenerative diseases etc?

Your example is also hilariously cherry-picked, since in most restaurants the majority of the menu is high in fat. Steak doesn't even contain a lot of fat, so that leaves the cheese to contribute the bulk of it. Where's the problem? Steak is expensive compared to fatty cuts and ground beef and that is probably reflected in the price of your sub vs. the common cheeseburger
