Dickhead boss ordered $3000 worth of tortillas and cheese that have been rocking up for the last 4 weeks, completely taking up all of my fridge space with no hope of using them before going bad.
Each week I've had to come up with a special dish in an attempt to use up all of them.
This week is a medley of dips with toasted tortillas.
Need ideas.

Went to my local coffee shop. The coffee was better than usual. So on my way out I said to the cute barista girl "explain this coffee to me". she just stared at me and walked away. Do employees not have to treat customers with respect anymore?

I don't go on this board often due to the over-abundance of shit memes and fast food threads, but I wanted a critique on my cooking and to encourage anyone else to post their dishes.
This is being cooked currently so the end result is later.
Ing:
>Wild apples, fuck knows what, from the coast
>Ginger
>Gloves
>Iodised salt
>Black pepper
>Sage and Thyme
Opened the pork joint and seasoned rigorously, cubed the apples and re-rolled and tied.
Dumped in slow cooker on high for 3 hours, final hour roasted in oven after exterior being seasoned with salt, pepper and maybe something else not decided yet.
The cloves and ginger were commonly used in medieval cooking 14-16th century, I've previously made Gamelyne sauce which uses both these ingredients and adds zest to the dish.
I will make a blackberry, apple and gin sauce for later cos why not.

What is the deal with hard shell tacos? You take one bite, everything flies all over the place. Your mouth is horizontal, but your food is vertical. You can't open your mouth, can't turn the food sideways or everything will fall out. Can't even squeeze it a bit harder or it will break at the bottom.
The hell.

Chocolate chip is usually my go to. They are salted, and also has browned butter. Super chewy.

Ausfag heading to Murica in a fortnight for the first time and I realised I have no idea how tipping works other than that it is a common practice.
Do you tip in every food outlet? Like for example, ramen place where you order & pay at the counter and they give you a number and bring it out? Or does that not qualify seeing as it's not a waiter-service place? What about chains like Dennys? Also, how much is the 'average' tip amount that can be adjusted based on quality of service?
Also this may be a stupid question but does it extend to non-food places too? Like, if I was in a department store and someone on the floor really helped me out in finding something, do I tip them?
Sorry if this is dumb or has been asked a million times, I'm just not quite sure what to expect over there and don't want to come across as an asshole.

You never learn without asking, it's all good. Also attempt to not refer to someone as "Cunt", or else do it as much as possible in order to establish it as "Part of your charm".
