If y'all remember me, I posted a week or so ago about my dickhead boss ordering over $3000 worth of tortillas and cheese that we couldn't possible store or hope to sell before they spoil.
Nearly all the corn tortillas have started to form mould and have been chucked. I put them all in garbage bags then showed them to the boss, I will never feel as happy and smug as the moment I see the look of regret and despair flash across his face all the while thinking "I fucking told you so"
Pic is of one of the many garbage bags that I hauled to the dumpster
My fucking back hurts now.
Also started using a lot of my connections with other restaurants to find anyone willing to take the cheese off my hands. Given away about 4 boxes so far.

Do people that work in fast food feel smug ever? It's kind of crazy to think that in this low life's rpg fantasy he can feel smug towards a teenage manager that makes more than he does. Honestly, it's time to go. Clock out and clean the floors, boy.

Is this even known outside of Germany?
It's a sweet fizzy drink made with mate leaves. Has lots of caffeine in it and tastes amazing imo. Haven't encountered it at all outside of Germany though
>>9368286
Yes, I got a bottle of this as gift from some Germans friends I met at DefCon.
Bretty gud, 9/10
I've seen it in Stockholm and Helsinki, in most well-sorted grocery stores.
It's nice.
The straight edge kids in France drink it. I've also seen it at a vegetarian restaurant chain in Montreal.
What's your favorite frozen pizza?
i don't hate myself enough to eat frozen pizza
>>9368262
Oh wow, are you one of those gourmets? That's so bad ass.
>>9368302
no, i'm simply not terrified of taking 30 minutes to prepare a pizza that wipes the floor with whatever frozen trash has to offer
I'd like to further my knowledge on food, flavors spices, and cooking. What're some good books and youtube channels or teach myself this stuff. Also how do I know what essential ingredients I should keep in my kitchen? I can't take classes atm.

Nice try anon, Im not that new
Why do you eat it?
It tastes good when ground and made into bread and as a tribute to it being the foundation on which western civilization was built. Western civilization would not have originated without the humble wheat grain.
>>9368167
Because it tastes good and I'm not retarded enough to invent an intolerance that doesn't exist just to tell people how special I am.
I don't. I eat corn.
Friends, can you give me a hint?
I'm a good cook* and I want to make my first tart.
I want to make something with tomato rings on top, and, hopefully, garlic-mayoran-oregano-cream sause, because I have a lot of it.
Can you please give me suggestions?
The cake is ready, I'm just wondering about the cream + ingredients combination, and I'd like to have them tomato slices on top.
Thanks in advance.
*polish & asian food.
eggs, like 2 or 3
beat with seasonings of your choice + 10cl cream
pour on tart
place tomatoes
>>9368064
also you gotta put it in a 180°c oven for like 20 minutes. Cheese on top is always a good idea.
>>9368064
>pour on tart
Should I paint the cake with a slim layer of oil, so that the humidity of the egs & filling don't fuck it up?
What's can I add to spaghetti that makes it not boring? I use pasta, mince, salt and a jar of pasta sauce.
I've searched up couple recipes but they are all the same, or say add pepper. Which is boring. What can I add to add more good tastes to my spaghetti??
>>9368001
That shouldn't be bland at all unless you're using shit-tier ingredients.
As for things to add: red chili if you like it spicy. A little anchovy paste or a couple anchovy fillets is god-tier. Parmesan cheese--and I don't mean the fake stuff. And make sure you're browning the mince well.
>>9368013
Oh no it tastes really good. I've just gotten bored of the taste. I could eat it everyday.
>>9368035
Just make your own tomato sauce and can it, its cheaper and healthier those pre made sauce jars are loaded with msg and preservatives.
Just a few cans of whole tomatoes, a few fresh ones, few onions, good handful of garlic cloves and basil
fry of garlic and onions, rip basil leaves ones throw em in the oil, wait 20 sec, add diced tomatoes, sweat a bit, add canned tomatoes.
Season with salt pepper and a pinch of honey or sugar.
voila, perfect tomato sauce.
But in general what really goes well with tomato pasta sauce : garlic, red chilis, tuna, chicken for example
You can also make a really nice stew if you add some water to the sauce and braise some meat in that.
I often make a big ass pot of that sauce, sear some lamb meat and then stew it in the sauce with a fucklot of chili and cumin.
good shit.
Red pill me on umami /ck/
>>9367967
It's the Japanese word meaning "savory". I'm not sure what else there is to say beyond the obvious.
>>9367970
Is it really unhealthy to use msg salt?
It's a cooking style whereby foods high in glutamic acid are prepared. Unmami itself is simply a Japanese concept which attempts to describe the satisfying feeling one gets when eating food that derives great pleasure.

I like to put small onions, carrots, parsnips, and garlic in a casserole dish or iron skillet. Stick some rosemary sprigs in there, drizzle with a little oil (or ideally, duck fat) and then roast that pimp bastard in the oven.
My friend finally moved out of his mother's house.
What should I get him for his new apartment? Be it a teapot, knives, pans, crockpot, etc.
He can barely work the microwave but his roommate loves to cook and we are slowly teaching him(and failing at it because he is a fucking idiot).
They have a microwave, oven, stove, coffee pot and toaster.

It's okay anon, we were all noobs once, no need to make up stories.

Man, I wish I had friends like you. I love to cook but I suck at it. Everything I know is self taught.
>>9367917
I wish I had less friends like him. Since he won't go away I'm trying to make him less useless. This motherfucker cannot comprehend mixing, oven temperature, how to drive a car or anything. It took 8 years but I finally got it to stick to him on how to fry and egg and it felt like a gift from god.
