>put in oven @350 for 40-60 minutes
Casseroles can fucking die, this is the laziest fucking food biches make they taste and look like shit. might as well take all the usual ingredients, blend them on puree, and microwave in a bowl. you get the same spongey sweaty shit that comes out of the oven, and saves time

You can make more complex casseroles, but what you're talking about doesn't sound much different from a stew. As long as it's seasoned properly with the right amount of fresh ingredients and aromatics you can even make that taste good.

Post a photo of a recent dish you cooked up. Tell us what you liked about it.

I made this beef larb salad today. Very fresh tasting. Lots of herb and lime seasoning. Great for summer. Hamburger and mint, who'd a thunk it?!

I feel pretty bad. I woke up thinking I didn't eat anything when drinking. I look in the kitchen and find a big empty Doritos bag. I don't like the idea of ghost eating 2000 calories. Never happened to me before as far as I know. All I drank was a pint of vodka over the course of 2 or 3 hours. Had no idea that could make me have a big gap in my memory.

i wanna plan a picnic with a nice meal, but how do i pack non-sandwich foods in a basket and eat it in a park? how do i keep them warm? i have so many questions /ck/ please help
2 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
For a picnic you, want to go with cold or room-temp foods that you don't need to keep warm. I like to bring crackers, brie, grapes, dry salami, tuna/chicken salad, etc. Those bag ice chests work really well in combination with a freezer pack.

I know some picnics feature fried chicken, but I feel like that's a more civilized, backyard affair. Imagine being at the park full of chicken grease. Does not appeal to me.

Has retail consumerism decided to just let the cancer infest our culture until we speak up? Or are we descending into a meme consumer culture with no end in sight?

just bought a 1.75 of pic related for about 17 dollars. I was a little suspicious of how cheap it was and how cheap the actual bottle looks and previous experience with these big pre mixed cocktails, but nothing prepared me for how bad this shit is.

relative to long islands I've had in bars or out to eat this tastes like cough syrup mixed with a little gasoline. is there anything I can do to save this 1.71 liters? mix with coke?

Coke will help. For future reference don't buy any alcohol that comes in a plastic bottle or has a plastic cap

How do I make great onion rings?
3 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
Beer batter with a cream ale and a decent-sized pinch of turmeric.
>>
>>9347903
Well first you have to find a grand onion, then have said onion make onion rings great again. There, and you're finished Anon.

Am I crazy for hating work lunches in the office? I can't understand why everyone gets so damned excited that they're getting some free Panera sandwiches when really it's just an excuse for the office to lock you in and deny you your lunch hour so they can force you into a meeting that could have been had during normal hours.

But people seem to get SO excited that they're going to be saving $5.00 that day.

Explain it to me?

Yeah it's pretty much bottom of the barrel.

I ask because there are some beers (like Stella) that we love and are considered crap to average in it's native land.

Pic related, it's actually very good.

How about chicken stock? It's useful in cooking and easy to make.
