Hey /ck/, how do you make your pizza dough crunchy? I make bread-like decent pizza, but I'd love to be able to make it as crunchy as restaurant pizza is. I always put my oven at max heat (250ºC/482ºF) and put it on a metal tray the lowest I can. Is my oven just not gud enough? Should I use less yeast? Not yeast at all?

Simultaneously, I have touble with fries. They aways get soggy after less than a minute, but I remember my mother used to make them so crunchy... what's can I do to remedy that? I cut the potatoes pretty thin already. Someone told me they just need to be really cold, is that true? And last but not least, how do you make spongy rice just like in chinese restaurants? I can't manage this for the life of me. Do they just fry it in a wok pan? What gives?

Pic unrelated.

Who here makes their own baby food?
My son is almost 9 months and recently he is completely rejecting all baby food. Only will eat the baby food I make.
Typically I will make a soup, chicken noodle, lentil, ham and bean, and just grab a few thick ladles of it and pulse it once or twice in my blender and jar it.
I generally make soups with meat for him, mashed potatoes with butter and cream, rice and beans for him.

I made some mashed potatoes tonight for him and turned my leftover chicken noodle into baby food. Pic related.

>2 slices buttermilk white bread
>2 tbsp mccormick mayo with lime
>1 slice bologna
>5 slices turkey sandwich meat
>1 slice american cheese
>1 squirt of sriracha in the middle

Let it stew for a few hours in your bag, all the ingredients will start melting together even at room temperature and turn into a delicious gooey shitty mess that tastes fucking delicious.

The Digestiv was really unappealing to me. Chocolate isn't very tasty nor is the biscuit good for soaking up the coffee/tea.
Aldi's speculos/biscuits with the dark chocolate squares are pretty good.
Lotus biscuits are also pretty good.

Why are they called Digestives?

Would using a strainer to make the mixture more thin make the product have less nutrients?
9 posts and 1 images submitted.

Less insoluable fiber and whatever remains dissolved in the liquid stuck with the remains but not too much difference.
>>
>>9373180
>Would using a strainer to make the mixture more thin make the product have less nutrients?

Yes. The strainer will remove the insoluble fiber, as well as all the vitamins and minerals remaining in the "bits" left behind.

Just get a blender that doesn't suck. Any proper blender should have no problem liquifying the kale so that it's not unpleasant to drink. Vitamix or Blendtec. Refurbished models are widely available and much cheaper with a full warranty. If you need something more budget friendly then the Ninja isn't bad at all, it's just limited to small serving sizes.

Oh okay, thank you. I actually scoop out the fiber with a spoon because it feels weird in my mouth when I drink the smoothie lol
