How does /ck/ make their "grilled" cheese? I actually don't grill it.
Cut some butter off the stick and microwave it until its soft. Then spread it on the bread, including a little on the outside. Put whatever cheese you want. (I used 2 slices gouda and some shredded taco cheese and shredded asiago.) Put it together and microwave for 30 seconds to jump start the cheese melting process. Put in toaster oven at 450 for 4 minutes. Sometimes I out ham in it but I didn't today because Lent.

If you put ham in it, it's not a fucking grilled cheese you putz.

I once ordered a cesar salad from a pizza place and they didn't give me dressing for it at all
oh how I cried such bitter tears
I didn't see a cook-along thread and I've been dying to post my latest creation in one so here we are
ITT: cook alongs (or: what anon had for dinner)
I will start
In picture you see:
>2 lb ground lamb
>1/2 diced yellow onion
>6 large dried Kadota figs, chopped
>1 egg
>1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
>1 tsp salt
>1/2 tsp black pepper
>1 tsp ground coriander
>1/2 tsp ground thyme (accidentally bought instead of whole leaf thyme, you could use either)
>1/4 tsp allspice
>one splash of sherry vinegar
>two splashes of balsamic vinegar

I smash it with my hands

For me, this amount made 40 kind of small meatballs, but you can make them however large or small you like them.
I begin to sear. I turned them over twice, so I was searing on 3 sides of the meatballs. In this picture you can see them once they were turned over one time. I did not cook them for longer than a few minutes on each side because I wanted them to be red inside still because I will cook them more later.
Velveeta is trash. Why would anyone eat this shit. Also fuck teflon, use a cast iron.
>>8670775
Velveeta is only for melting / making cheese sauce.
Teflon is used in combination with paper to make electricity generators.
Velvetta is for dipping.
Mix equal parts Velveeta and refried beans in a slow cooker along with a splash of beer and a few spoonfuls of salsa. Serve with tortilla chips. It's very useful for lazy days.
I found 3 quarter pound freezer burned burger patties buried in freezer. is there anyway to use these? I just can't stand to throw food out.

>freezer burned
So?
Pan fry in olive oil, super hot pan. Serve like a regular burger - enjoy.
Steam them
Does flavortown really exist?
I sure hope so
FLAVORTOWN is not a place. It is a state of mind.
it exists as long we believe it exists and in that way, flavortown is inside of us.

I've only made gnocchi a few times before and I always just boil them and put them in tomato sauce.
Whats the best way to prepare gnocchi? I was thinking of frying them in a skillet and making a type of white sauce.

What are your thoughts on mechanically separated meat products?
Is it possible to make cookingkino with them?
>>8670107
They'll never be fancy, but their bad reputation is not deserved. You can cook lots of good things with spam, and deviled ham on crackers or bagels with cream cheese is GOAT.

Tonight is the night for pizza
Got a good crust recipe?

3 cups of the pictures flour, 1 cup water, 1 tsp yeast (started in the water beforehand), a dash of salt, and a prayer that it rises well
what do you co/ck/s think about pineapple on pizza
Tried it once. Too watery for pizza in my opinion.
It's a good idea in concept but anyone whose tried it will say that it needs the ham on it to complete the taste, otherwise it's just an overly sweet pizza and that's weird.
Not my thing, and I think it's heretical, but if they pay me for it I'm all in.
Really great with BBQ sauce and chicken.
