What's the best bread you've ever had at a restaurant?
Hard mode: no Red Lobster, Outback, Olive Garden, or Texas Roadhouse.

>Hard mode: no Red Lobster, Outback, Olive Garden, or Texas Roadhouse.
You really need to get out more.

I'm just trying to preempt the mouth-breathers who would instantly respond with chains that are somewhat known for their bread offerings.
Literally any decent restaurant in Germany, France, Spain, or Italy.
What went wrong?

Post what you miss

I miss these bad boys. They brought them back for Christmas, but I only got 6 bags of them and ate them in like 2 weeks.
>>8664081
Those tasted like ass
I made poached eggs for the first time. Turned out okay. They were a bit overdone but that didn't stop me from enjoying them.
They look nice.
I just make them in a cup in the microwave, no need to bother with boiling water or adding vinegar etc. They come out perfect every time.

How to?
I don't live close to a McDonalds and really want to try it. How can I make homemade McDonalds and other fast foods?
Wendys is better
>>8680756
do you live in a jungle?
>>8680756
Where do you live?
I say this is the way to serve spagbol, with the sauce on top of the noodles not mixed in, it is aesthetically tastier, allows the individual to determine whether they want more or less sauce, and the sauce mixes as you eat
>>8680062
okay
>>8680062
>aesthetically tastier
No such thing.
>>8680062

Pretty great berry right there.
Calimyrna Figs are GOAT fruit
>hurr durr don't run your knife in the dishwasher it wears out the edge
Then just resharpen it you fucking retard. If you're so concerned about taking "proper care" of your knife, you supposed to do that regularly anyways
Why are you putting your knife in the dishwasher though? Just wash it off with a scrub pad or a brush so you can use it again.
>>8679373
That can be said about everything that goes into a dishwasher m8
>>8679336
alternatively
Southern Californian here.
Anyone know where to get this? If not possible, what's a similar drink to this?
Liquor store.
If it's not there then get a bumwine and chase it with half a redbull.
>>8678779
It's not a grape wine but they make several sakes near Berkeley so at least in the bay area they are below $5 a bottle. Sho chiku bai is 15% abv and gekkeikan is 15.6% abv. Back when I was 21 I'd buy a bottle chill it and then drink it straight from the bottle. It was a one and done thing. A 1.5L bottle is like $9. After 6 years of alcoholism that doesn't do it for me and I only drink Japanese sake at sushi restaurants when someone else is paying the bill.
>>8678779
Fuck this shit is vile.
Got an empty bottle next to my bed from last weekend.
You can get it anywhere in the UK easy.
give me ONE (1) good reason why I shouldn't break up my noodles before cooking them
>>8678447
For every noodle you break, an Italian Grandma slips and breaks her hip.
>>8678447
So you wont be considered a faggot

Because you are not a child
What are some Native American cuisines? And where can I get them in Europe?
Salty burnt beaver
Pemmican's pretty good. You're probably better off making it yourself.
Bannock is also pretty good, but that's because it's just bread/cornbread.
Why is every recipe site full of middle aged women with Minion profile pictures that type a small novel before the recipe? Just give me the food & cooking tips. Fuck.
I hate how they all have their own little "twists" as well that either ruin the dish or do absolutely nothing to the taste.
Because Minions are cute and fun. Everyone can enjoy Minions.
i dunno but i went to a drive in triple feature and there was this minons short movie thing and a dad a few cars ahead of us was laughing loud and over the top, i don't get it
What's going on, /ck/? Many of these restaurant chains like Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Ruby Tuesday, and Bonefish are reporting steep revenue declines:
>Bloomin’ Brands closes 43 restaurants
>Bloomin’ Brands Inc. said on Friday morning that it has closed 43 underperforming restaurants amid persistently weak same-store sales at most of the company’s casual dining brands.
>Same-store sales at its flagship Outback Steakhouse chain fell 4.8 percent, and declined 2.3 percent at Carrabba’s Italian Grill in the quarter ended Dec. 25. Same-store sales fell 1.9 percent at Bonefish Grill, but increased slightly, 0.2 percent, at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse.
>Bloomin’ Brands has more than 1,500 locations systemwide.
>Casual dining chains have been struggling recently amid a weak restaurant environment, as consumers shift spending to quick-service and fast casual restaurants or opt to stay home altogether. That has led to more closures — Ruby Tuesday and Ignite Restaurant Group Inc., among others, have closed restaurants, as has the fast-casual chain Noodles and Co.

It's gotta be those god damned millennials again.
"Family Friendly" restaurants are campy and fuckin weird, that's why
A little surprised to hear about Noodles & Company. I'd put them more in the fast-casual category which the article says is supposed to be thriving. And for a chain they're pretty damned decent, I've found.
Medium is best
>>8675979
I respect your choice in how you want your steak cooked. I prefer medium rare though.
>>8675979
Well done is done well. Its literally in the name. Enjoy your bloody steaks.
>>8675995
>Enjoy your bloody steaks.
Thanks, I will!
When's the last time you had a nice rich bowl of French onion soup?
Never.
>>8675966
Well... you're missing out. You should consider getting one today.
>>8675936
Years ago. I don't really eat french food very often.
Like their cheese, wine, and croissants though.
