So what's your opinion on Kramer's pizza idea /ck/
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qurDuwKqw3Y
as if trust you retards with hot ovens and assembling shit yourself. you can't even be trusted to make a sandwich hence subway does it for you
The show was written by jews.
Have jews ever had an idea that didn't end in making money?
As a business?. It would fail because most people can't cook pizza. Real business can barely get it right.
>inb4 it's not hard if you're not retarded hurr durr. just dough and toppings. How hard is it faggot.
I need help guys.
>Made lasagna for friends. >Recipe says to cook day before and then reheat before serving
>k
>recipe says to use dry uncooked lasagna noodles
>....k
>idk if the noodles will be cooked
>been talking up this lasagna to friends and pretending like I'm a Michelin star chef
>will the lasagna be crunchy?
>will they call me out on my lies
Pic related. Did layers of beschemel instead of ricotta.
>>9376701
Yes, it will be crunchy.
>>9376703
So what should I do? Should I not say anything and if they ask say It was taught to me by Italian chefs?
>>9376710
First of all stop worrying, second; the lasagna will be cooked in the sauce, most part of it will definately come out soft.
Never been to Taco Bell, what are some good things on the menu?
>>9376495
Plastic and metal.
get the cheese burrito and hardshell tacos

Whatever $5 meme box they have this month.
Redpill me on this cheap meat. I just bought a frozen box of it because it's cheap as fuck (considered a waste products). I thought about frying it with onions and some creame and tatoes.
Will it fuck me up due to all this beeing a waste disposal organ and shit? How much can I eat before overdosing?
if you want cheap meat that actually tastes good, get some beef short ribs next time.
>>9376425
>Will it fuck me up due to all this beeing a waste disposal organ and shit?
Nope. Some people think of the liver as a "waste filter" but that's very inaccurate. The liver is not a filter, rather it secretes enzymes which break down wastes in the blood. Even if it was a "filter" that would be fine too--chickens are slaughtered at a very young age so there's no time for toxins to build up anyway.
>>How much can I eat before overdosing?
As much as you want. It's only certain specific Arctic animals, like seals or polar bears, which have poisonous livers. And that's not due to "toxins". It's due to Vitamin A.
Anyway, chicken livers are delicious, cheap, and they are very nutritious. Go for it.
They're delicious in a risotto
I've never heard of a single incident of someone getting poisoned or sick because they ate fish too many times in one week.
Is mercury poisoning just a meme? I mean there are literally millions of people on earth who JUST eat fish every single day and every single meal.
Because no one is stupid enough to do it, and it's eating cans every day for some months before you get terminal.
>>9376423
It's a classic case of people overreacting.
Scientist: >>we found that if you eat an excessive amount, every day, of certain fish then there is a slightly elevated risk for heavy metal poisoning
Sheeple: >>ZOMG! No fish EVER again! I'm gonna die if I eat a single sardine!
>>I mean there are literally millions of people on earth who JUST eat fish every single day and every single meal.
That seems like a massive exaggeration to me, but remember that what matters a great deal is what kind of fish is being eaten. Small fish have a very low concentration of toxins within. The risk goes up as you go higher up the food chain. Fish which eat other fish and grow to older age accumulate more heavy metals. So, say, a big fucking tuna is a lot more risky than eating some sardines.

Jeremy Piven got it from eating sushi every day.
I'm on a low carb high fat diet,
and I can't get enough potassium.
Wich are some non sugary, low carb foods I can include that are rich in it? (bananas excluded)
Mushrooms?

Wich?

All mushrooms have basically the same nutritional value.
How long do you have to cook a sauce for to get a good meld of flavors or is it better to leave it in the fridge overnight?
I've heard people say they cook their tomato sauce for five hours. I never cooked one for that long unless it was starting with fresh tomatoes, but still tomato sauce and curries and the like always seem better the day after. Last night i made a pasta sauce that was pretty good but not great and today it's amazing. Should I just start cooking my sauces the night before? Or do I just need to cook them longer, like start them in the morning?
>>9376324
>five hours
that's not necessary, even if using fresh tomatoes. an hour tops, and then just use a stick blender.
>>9376324
I'm not sure you can group all sauces together like this. Some sauces could benefit from a long cooking time, others might not.
The longer you cook the more time there is for flavors to be extracted from thicker/tougher ingredients. That's usually a good thing. It also breaks down the texture of both meat and vegetable ingredients. That could be good or bad depending on what you want--a nice tender stew is a good thing. But vegetables that fall apart and turn to mush are not. Also, the longer you cook something the more time there is for some of the volatile comounds which add flavor to evaporate out. That can harm the taste of your stew/chili/curry/etc.
I'd say there is no single one-size-fits-all answer. It all depends on what you're cooking and what texture you're shooting for.
>Want tomato sauce on my pasta.
>Put tomato in pan.
>Sauté for 10 minutes
>Squash with potato masher.
I'm not sure where the 5 hours of cooking thing came from. It seems perfectly fine like this.
what's with the moralfaggotry of eating dogs?
i've tasted dogs once and it was pretty delicious, westernfags only get butthurt because they keep it at home
i'm pretty sure a mastiff confit would taste excellent
>eating the nigger animal
>>9376299
It's not eating dogs or cats for that matter is bad. I just hate how disgusting chinks will just find gross animals off the street and eat that. It's a hell of a lot different than farm raising animals. If they farm raised dogs and cats I'd eat them.
>>9376299
>He think there's no difference between eating animals specifically domesticated for meat and eating an animal that was domesticated for hunting and protection
Dogs were the first animal humans domesticated. They were domesticated during a time when humans had to hunt for food. The dog was specifically domesticated to help humans hunt and provide protection.
That is completely different than eating a cow or pig, animals that were domesticated later for the sole purpose of providing meat.
Hey /ck/
I'm making some bread and I need help post haste.
I made it using a slow rise method, using:
2 ounces of instant yeast
4 cups of bread flour.
and a dash of pink salt (its what I had on hand)
16 hours of rising later, and the dough smells like cheap booze.
So my first instinct was "knead the FUCK out of it and let it rise a little more"
What do you guys recommend I do to save this? It has happened before, and I left it with the alcohol smell, and it ended up tasting like it smelled.
Help me /ck/ you're my only hope.
>>9376208
Fermenting dough does smell a bit.
I could be wrong, but if that 2oz of yeast is 56 grams, and that's over 5 tablespoons, that's way too much.
Like the most basic white bread recipe is 6:3:3:13, so for your purposes about 2:1:1:4. 2 cups water, 1 tablespoon salt, 1 tablespoon yeast, 4 cups flour.
>2 ounces of instant yeast
is that what the recipe called for?
>>9376262
Im sorry, I meant 2 grams, 2oz is a ridiculous amount.
I generally get those two mixed up, since they are the two measurements on my kitchen scale.
For me, it's Water, the best sip

Have some water friend
Give me your best ramen broth recipe that is also relatively easy to make.
soak the ramen in water for 3 days
you've now produced ramen broth
Bullion, soy sauce, garlic powder. All you need.
probably the easiest is miso stock which is just dashi powder and miso paste in water.
So I picked some of these yesterday for the first time.
Now I thought, you have to boil them for like half an hour. But most cooking methods say 3-5 minutes. Wont they be raw as fuck?

Nevermind just learned the difference between sweet corn and field corn. I stole field corn, drunk, after playing Hitman 3

Here's the best way. Put your shucked corn in a pot of cold water. Heat until it starts to boil. Turn off heat. It's done.
