But, on the weekends, I'll leisurely make myself something since I have time. Usually it's some form of eggs, but this morning, I couldn't resist the leftover pizza staring at me in the fridge, and I had 2 pieces of that. Meh, I wish I'd made eggs and toast with some fruit on the side.

this happens because the eggs are old. the USDA grading system AA, A, B reflects how old they are so always buy AA and use them well before the "best before" date on the packaging. cracking the egg on a flat surface also makes it less likely to break the yolk.

but despite your best efforts this can still happen (or other anomalies such as blood clots, twin-yolks, etc). eggs are cheap, no use crying over spilled milk, anon

Basically this. I've almost whipped whipping cream too long and it was actually getting quite stiff on it's own. As a happy accident, I think sweetened butter, or it having flavouring added to it while in it's cream stages, might be an interesting niche.
