Post your kitchens. This is my kitchen
Sorry my phone does that sometimes.

Why is your kitchen upside down, anon?
How do you cook up there?
>>9377319
>australian kitchen
Bonus points if it's something that professional chefs still repeat.
>you shouldn't salt eggs before cooking
>use a big pot of water when cooking pasta so it returns to the boil faster
>add oil to butter to stop it burning
>searing meat seals the juices in
>the alcohol all cooks off
>avoid cured meat because of the nitrates
>throw out any mussels that don't open
>raw vegetables are more nutritious
>>9376900
how retarded are you? the big pot for pasta is so that it doesnt over flow when it foams
most of the alcohol does burn off when you cook it because of its low boiling point
eat mussels that dont open and see what happens to you
raw veggies are more nutritious than grilled, steamed are the most nutritious way to cook veggies
kill yourself
>>9376968
I've been eating the mussels that don't open for years now and they've all been fine. Haven't gotten sick once
>>9376900
just stfu
The grocery store near me started selling this, is it any good?
>>9376619

How long would a pack of takeaway salmon sashimi last in the fridge and is there anyway I could salvage it? Fry it with breadcrumbs or something?
1-3 days, if itos smoked 5-8
>>9376475
This, i'd give it 48 hours tops.
>>9376475
definitely not smoked, it looks like the pic in the OP. I can't finish it right now though, cooking it would be okay right?
Anyone read this? I'm halfway through the audiobook and it has successfully made me hate food companies. Only fresh, local foods from now on, boyos
>>9376437
Gee how was the average American supposed to know how bad processed foods were?
>>9376437
I did last year and it was one of the things that finally helped me get off of processed shit. I used to buy into the calorie is a calorie meme and include a lot of processed shit in my diet to make counting them easier and then wondered why I never lost weight.
>>9377066
>Average Amercian
>Knowing about nutrition
In our defense the schools don't teach this shit. I got maybe two weeks of material on healthy eating in junior high, none in high school. That's five hours outside of my Sesame Street years. You have to go pretty far out of your way to even know how to eat right these days.
>>9376437
>did u know animals like salt sugar and fat
If you needed a book for that you're retarded.
Morning /ck/, what's for breakfast?
I just got off work. I ate pickles for dinner.
>>9376364
I slept for 4 hours, woke up then fed my dogs and drank a beer.
Pretty average.
Either an omelette with onions and serrano peppers, or biscuits and gravy... Not sure yet.
what are your best microwave recipes?
hello wildcats
it costs about a dollar
eat the rich
What can I use instead of sour cream that doesnt need to be kept in fridge?

What's /CK/'s opinion on the Döner?
Been in Germany a while now, and had a couple of these guys. Tasty and cheap, but concerned about the rate of sanitation employed by the Turks that make em. Anyone made them at home?
A good döner is a godly snack. Which is fitting, since actually finding a good döner is a herculean task.
Yeah, small döner shacks (or kebab as we call them in France) are mostly dirty. Someone even died after eating one in France.
Good junk food, just be wary of sanitation indeed. I am not the type of person who freaks out because there's a fly in the restaurant but I always double-check the döner place. Or I usually go back to the same place.
Anyway, the best döner I had was in Romania, for some odd reason. Much cleaner too, since it was a McDonald's style of stand in some large mall.
sanitation-wise xou just have to go and see yourself. if the place looks disgusting, dont buy it there. But german standards are pretty high and they will fine you if you dont match em so you should be ok in most places.
Sup /ck/, let's discuss terrible restaurants in your town that quickly closed.
>Terrible bar called Jackasses
>All the food had retarded names like the "Big Dick Burger" and the "Pasta de Cum Saunce"
>If you didn't ask for the the item you wanted exactly the wait staff would make you repeat it.
>I'd like a hamburger please
>What was that?
>A hamburger?
>Read the menu
>T-the big d-dick burger
>ONE BIG DICK BURGER COMING RIGHT UP
They closed in about 6 months
(Pic unrelated)

that sammich looks delish
>>9375871
I still can't tell if the anon on here talking about his friends clock themed restaurant was legit or not.
The cutlery was supposed to be sharpened clock hands, and you are off grandfather clock faces.
>>9375871
Is that horseradish or dijon mustard spread on the bread?
Tell me /ck/
Is it wrong to desire to eat nothing but sandwiches?
How can so many people not see the superiority of it? Bread goes with everything; you eat it with your hands and you don't need to dirty any plates or utensils just to eat.
Grilled chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, maybe a fried egg too.
Tuna sandwiches
Scrambled eggs sandwiches
If it fits you can put anything in one of these fluffy bastards and it will work
Grilled minced meat, with some spices for a bit more flavor
Salisbury steak
Meatballs
Fish and chips
Boiled potatoes, sliced boiled egg and fish and dress it with a teensy bit of olive oil and vinegar
You haven't seen tastiness and practicality until you've stuffed a french baguette with spaghetti and some Bolognese sauce, be mindful of yourself and cut the pasta in portions, don't want to bite down and drag it all out like an unenlightened idiot.
I dare you to try and find a flaw in this holy combination: combines proteins from meat and nutrients from vegetables in an easy to eat package and if you want a dose of vitamins you can eat some fruit for dessert.
The madmen behind icecream sandwiches knew what was up, but sadly they only tried to replicate the beauty of this combo with cookie dough.
As long as the dish isn't a soup or relies heavily some form of stock I guarantee it will be enhanced by being placed between fluffy yet slightly crunchy buns of bread still warm from the oven.
I thought those were peanuts at first.
>>9375782
Portuguese buns: crunchy outside and soft, fluffy inside, basically fist sized bread.
Bretty gud
>>9375791
Yeah it's bread alright
>go to a buffet
>scrambled eggs ALWAYS taste like watered down garbage
Why do they do this?
A couple reasons.
1. It's been sitting out longer than scrambled eggs should be
2. It's usually made from something like pic related
So basically, don't get scrambled eggs from buffets.
>>9375622
>go to a buffet
That was your first mistake.
Why can't you cook your own fucking eggs
> go to a chinese buffet
>half of everything is american food and the other half is just variations of chicken/tendies
>>9375469
So why post angry Pepe?
Sounds like a perfect scenario.
>>9375469
as long as they have egg rolls and fried wontons and dumplings. i never eat the other shit
>go to chinaman restaurant
>can't pronounce most of the dishes on the menu
>order orange chicken for the 1000th time
>chicken tikka marsala
>>9375456
>British person pronounces it "chicken teeker muhsalah"
>>9375456
>old white dude walks into vietnamese restaurant I'm currently dining at (beef stew ho fun soup)
>"SO DO YA GOT RICE OR NOODLES?"
>waitress: "ISS AH RAZZ NOO DOH!"
>old dude: "NO NO NO, I MEAN DO YA GOT RICE 'OR' NOODLES"
