I'm getting bored of steaks with just salt and pepper or garlic and rosemary. What other spices/herbs go good on a steak? I usually get ribeye or sirlion.

I've been trying to be thrifty with my money so I've been making chicken and beef stock from all the leftover bones I've had. Now I have jugs of the stuff and I don't know what to do with it. Any ideas? All I know to do with it is stew and porridge.

The obvious answer being soups, but you can easily make gravy from it, boil pasta or rice in it, make curry in it... there's tons of possibilities with it.

It's impossible to become a good cook from watching 20 video lessons. It doesn't matter how good the lessons are. If you're a complete amateur, then it might take you from a shitty cook into a decent cook, but if you already have the basics down, the only thing that will make you into a great cook is a lot of experience.

That's not to say that watching cooking videos is useless beyond that point, but you're going to need to watch lots and lots of videos and read many recipes from different people from across different culinary traditions in order to develop a good understanding of cuisine. No one is an expert in everything, not even Ramsay. Even then, true understanding comes from trying out the recipes and techniques, eating the food and evaluating the result.

The bagel shop I work at just got a new manager and he's made the most retarded change to our sandwich menu.

All sandwiches now come at a flat price of 3.99 and come with one meat or meat combo, onions, vinegar, olive oil, oregano, and yellow mustard, on rye bread, with a pickle spear. There's a $1 charge for any ingredient you want to add or remove. It's been two days and our regulars are already shitting themselves.
