Why do restaurants do this? This literally burns the part of the pasta that is touching the metal. LITERALLY.
Also another one of my pet peeves is that vegans only put oil in the boiling water when the pasta is gluten free, because it's actually required otherwise that shit will stick together like glue on the tip of your dick.
>Why do restaurants do this?
does it hurt being this stupid?
(pic related)
>>8854939
>literally burns
No it doesn't. Literally.
>>8854944
terrible and useless meme device that just made millions off of idiots. A large pot literally does the same thing for free.
What's the worst food to eat on a first date?
For me, it's a pure glass of water
Beans, garlic
Human feces
Hey can anyone suggest some easy and quick low-carb meals to me? I'm trying to lose some weight and I decided to try and cut carbs out or lower my carb intake
>>8854593
>he fell for the low carb meme
>>8854593
Put a frozen chicken breast on a plate and cook on high in the microwave for 5 minutes or until the center registers 165 with an instant-read meat thermometer. Do not season, you're on a low-carb diet so you must not want to enjoy eating. Rest for 5 minutes before cutting.
>>8854596
suffering just to dumb yourself further down isn't a good idea anon
My boyfriend's birthday is on Friday, I want to make him a home cooked meal (going to take him out for dessert). His favorite food is Italian, so what would you guys recommend?
>>8854397
pizza
>>8854397
london
>>8854398
How about something more high end aha we could go to dominos or something if he wanted pizza. I want to surprise him with something he's never had.
>go to sonic for half price shake
>see some new concoction called "custard concrete"
>know it's just a jewish scheme to get me to pay full price for ice cream related treat
>the curiosity is too enticing though
>get home
>excited to try my dessert
>it tastes like typical unspectacular ice cream
FUCKING J E W S WHY DO I FALL FOR IT EVERY TIME
Gluttons like you put three generations of the Sonic family through college
>>8854318
>buying premade food from a merchant
>not buying the ingredients separately and making it to your tastes
>Hard mode: not growing/producing the ingredients yourself
It seems you've fallen for one of the most common ancient Jewish scams
Fuck off with your dead meme, fag
Sorry flyovers, but the simple truth about tacos is that if you've never gone to the bad part of town to sit under a plastic awning outisde a run-down shack to eat tacos ten feet from a guy cooking meat on a rickety charcoal grill propped up on a utility pole while an old lady goes from table to table selling homemade tamales out of a beer cooler, then you've just never had tacos.
>>8854253
>TFW the tamale lady was your mom.
>>8854293

You do know that Mexi bros come to flyovers to do our construction and fruit/ veg picking, right?
I have gotten tacos just like that at a grocery store/ carneceria right by my house
For me, It's the reeses peanut butter big cup stuffed with reeses pieces
it's like eating a peanut butter crystal.
it shatters into a thousand shards when you bite into it.
could use better quality chocolate though.
>>8854199
snickers peanut butter
reeses eggs are a close second
>>8854199
KitKats are always my top
Ah yes, the two most classic zero effort, cheap, comfort sandwiches of America, they remind one of childhood days and are great to eat in a pinch when there is just nothing else around or you have no time for a real meal
But which is better? This is the question
PBJ all day everyday
Though I like it with whole wheat slightly toasted.
>>8854179
Not really comparable, but if I could only keep one, it'd be PBJ
>>8854179
pbj is better to satisfy hunger because peanut butter
Based on your personal use and understanding, can you help me reach a consensus of what the top 10 most healthful foods are?
Bonus points for the best supplements to take.
best veggie: cruciferous vegetables (cabbage, broccoli, kale, etc). low GI, high nutrition. destroys estrogen.
best fruit: berries. low GI, high nutrition. insane antioxidants.
best protein: sardines. omega 3s. plus little mercury 'cause they're little short-lived fish. mercury is mostly a big fish thing.
R8 my philly cheesesteak?? I used 1/4 of the cheese in the recipe... murricans pls. I used less cos i got the shits from the cheese yesterday.

Provolone should back you up not give you the shits. Unless you aren't white then yea you might be lactose intolerant.
Post what you made for dinner.
>>8854024
It's still cooking, but I'm making a chili and rice thing with vegan "chipotle meat crumbles," corn, and black beans.
>>8854024
I already ate it. Imagine a golden brown hot ham and cheese and a big ol' salad
Chicken breast, knor chicken flavored noodles and green beans
Hello /ck/.
I have some butternut squash. Two whole ones to be exact.
What preparation do you think would be the best? Is it possible to make it resemble a sweet potato souffle?
Shred it, bake it with salt brown sugar butter and cinnamon
Or just do that without shredding
>>8854058
Nutmeg not cinammon. Its nutmeg right?
>>8853982
It's out of season you stupid fuck. Stock up in late fall, dumbass.
I have 5 cans of pic related. How is this stuff used? What do?
give it to your dog
what he said
>>8853944
it doesn't look like the dog would fare well.
anytime you buy fast food, you support factory farming.
what the fuck is wrong with you?
eating meat is fine, but at least get stuff that hasn't suffered unimaginable pain from birth to death
>>8853903
>reminder that everytime you shitpost you bump a good thread off
If you want meat you should have to hunt it on even ground with the animal. No weapons.
>>8853914
>calls me a shitpost
yeah and every time you buy cheap animal products you support shit like this

What was the last thing you bought at the deli?
___________________________
Last week I got the Ox Roast, Sweet Sausage with Peppers, Ambrosia, some meats and cheeses, Ham Salad.
This week I got Stuffed Potato salad, Tuna and Chicken salad and some fine meatballs. I will likely get more Ox Roast, try some Egg Salad.
I also was surprised to find I liked Tuna Macaroni Salad. "How good can that be?" I wondered. But I was wrong, it was very good.
I enjoy and appreciate my deli and deli workers. I hope you do too.
Its humbling too, when you are in a deli and think of all the people in the world who have no deli. Friends, we are more blessed than we will ever know.
Deli! Deli! Deli!
>tfw no one lurves and celebrates the deli as much as you do
>>8854989
I bought some meatballs and will be making a meatball sub tomorrow during my lunch break.
Then there is this deli near me which is in the nicest in town, with import italian foods and such, they sell a massive $5 sandwich for the plebs, which I get often.
Delis are great.. cheer up, chum
deli is fun, i don't mind the job 98% of the time but all it takes is the 2% to come in and it will either make or break you. Last thing I got was a basil pasta salad with sun-dried tomatoes, it's pretty good and the flavour is subtle too. Chicken salad is a staple classic and is always good. It's a chain grocery i work for so take for a grain of salt.
I want to go to a nice upscale deli though, but i don't know of any our here in Vegas
