hey /ck/
for some reason every time i cook a dish i taste a the faintest hint of peanut. in my fuit loops before work this morning i couldnt help but be reminded of crunchy Skippy, and last night my chicken cordon bleu left a similar aftertaste. This is the first time this has happened with consecutive meals, but ive noticed this for several weeks in varying intensities. i have yet to contact a doctor, but i come here so often, and i would consider this situation food related. could it be my dish soap? my tongue? pls help

How are we supposed to answer that when you didn't mention what soap you're using, and what your washing procedure is? I would find the soap angle to be vanishingly unlikely since most people rinse the soap off things when they are washing them.

I made a smoothie for breakfast
6 cups spinach
3 T flax seed (grind before adding other ingredients)
3 cups water
.6 cups frozen blueberries
1.75 bananas frozen
1 scoop chocolate flavor protein powder
1 cm piece ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
it was very good. That amount makes a whole blender, which is enough for two people for breakfast.
Who else /smoothies/? How tf else am I supposed to get enough vegetables in my daily diet to stay healthy and not be an average joe?
Also, please tell me how to improve the recipe, or share your own superior methods for smoothies, shakes, or blended edible foods.

ive decided that the most disgusting meat is chicken meat (especially breast)
there are always chicken strings left around the sink and they sit in puddles of water and are everywhere! and rubbery chicken gets stuck in the plug. not to mention its raw form is horrible to look at and touch, in addition to feeling like its contaminating everything with bacteria!
