Why /starving the fuck out of themselves/ here? 5'9" 173 lbs currently trying to eat 600 Calories below maintenance. This shit fucking sucks. I had panara today and I was so fucking hungry it was the best thing I've like ever fucking eaten
It's not great, but over time you'll feel less hungry, especially if you cut down on eating between meals.

Just finished a diet coming from 6'0 202. Was eating 1000 calories or less a day. It was rough, but by week two, my body was pretty adjusted and it wasn't awful.
I found the trick was waiting to have one really satisfying meal at the end of the day, and the rest of the day counting on raw veggies if I had hunger pangs.

Enjoy your salmonella
Alright /ck/, there is a lot of discussion around here about how to cook the perfect steak. We'll I'm about to give you a master class. This is not about the cut of meat (best you can afford obviously), or how to prepare it for cooking, but on the actual technique of cooking it. For today's class I have something simple and cheap. It's an 18oz top sirloin. Typically, for a better cut of meat, I'd suggest nothing but a application of salt and pepper. But since this is a cheap cut I marinated it for 3 days in my own secret recipe.
Set it out and let it come to room temperature. When it's about there, preheat your oven to 425 and cut up 2 tablespoons of butter in your pan and set it to medium high heat
When the pan is hot and the butter has stopped foaming add your room temperature steak. Do not touch it once it hits the pan. Let it sear for 3 minutes
Now flip and do the same to the other side. Note the sear on it.
Hello /ck/ .
Ask a bartender anything.

Best drink to drink while avoiding hangovers?
>>8873324
Easilly a spicy Bloody Mary ,if u are not a cocktail guy go for something sour including lime or lemon the acid containing inside them detox ur alcohol from your body.
If i order a fernet and coke what do you think of me?
Is it reasonable to have no tolerance to chilli and refuse to eat food if it has the smallest amount of chilli?
Backstory - I invited my parents over for dinner at my apartment, and I prepared Chilli con Carne, with the smallest amount of spiciness - literally just a pinch of chilli powder. They sat down, started eating and shortly after started panting and wouldn't eat anymore, as if they were eating a ghost chilli. I made the same thing the next time they visited with literally no spiciness, and they liked it and even found it somewhat spicy.
Now I like my spicy food within reason - I'm not the type of faggot who literally dumps ghost pepper hot sauce into everything he eats, but it triggers the fuck out of me that my parents refuse to eat anything that's remotely spicy. Where do you guys stand on this?
>>8873199
Absolutely they can have no tolerance. If you spend your life avoiding capsaicin and piperine, then even the smallest amount seems like a colossal irritant.
My wife was the same way. She couldn't tolerate even black pepper when we first started dating.
>>8873199
My sister is the same way. She was eating nachos and said the cheese was spicy. It was regular cheese.
>>8873245
They used to be okay a few years back, but the past year or so they've had no tolerance at all. I've tried to get their tolerance up very gradually, but to no avail.
I'd respect their need to not want spiciness, but god damn it it's Chilli con Carne - it's meant to be spicy. It pisses me off because there's so many dishes that I can't make because they complain it's too spicy, and it's not even capsacin spice either.
Alright guys I was doing some spring cleaning. I live in a white family that cant cook at all (Electric stove, the grill pictured).
The point of the thread is that I want to use a grill this summer, but I have no money and all we have is what I am posting here. My white family's busted old propane shit tier grill. I just want to know if I can save it or if I should just throw it out. If it is savable PLEASE give me some instructions, online offers help for low grade cleaning while I think this is a disaster.
I came with three images, the outside ones are bad but not as bad as what waits inside.

>live in a white family
There's your problem
And the real gore. I dont think its ever been cleaned. And has sat outside for many winters.
>Pretending to like Whiskey
Why must beta males do this?
What do you like to drink?
Hard spirits are the only thing I can drink without getting a hangover. I like whiskey because it actually tastes of something.
Stop projecting your own preferences onto others
>>8872615
>pretending to like *thing I dislike*
why do *unconnected despised demographic* do this?
is this rare or blue rare?
Blue rare. Don't eat super undercooked ground meat anon, the reason rare steak re okay is the dangerous bacteria is on the outside of meat, a sear will kill that. Ground meat has all the bacteria mixed in.
>>8872165
Of course, what else would it be?
It's more rare than blue rare. Also rare ground beef is disgusting. raw steak is better
>>8872165
looks pink to me
Who else here eats sardines straight from the can?

I cut them open and remove the spine first.
>>8871711
>he doesnt eat spine
Either bait or faggot
>>8871711
Just eat them, it might help you grow one of your own.
Has anyone ever been to one?
If so, how was it?
>>8871048
it was really good i enjoyed myself a lot and the food was tasty
It was great, all the meat was delicious. Can be pretty pricey though. Only worth it for special occasions.
It's tasty. I would say it's not worth it, in the sense that if you eat too little, you're not getting your money's worth, and if you eat too much you'll feel like shit.
Do you ever eat rice, /ck/ ?

Hey I just landed a job as a waitress at a nice country club, is there any thing I should know getting into this? Any tips would be appreciated :)
First think you should know is
TITS OR GTFO
I've heard exposing your mammaries to the internet, especially 4chan, is quite helpful in the biz
How do you make your chili?
I use a jar of sauce cos I'm a lazy cunt
>>8872827
Is it like premade spaghetti sauce, just chili sauce instead? I honestly don't think I've ever seen it.

Con carne
