Her coords are always really hit or miss. Also, that butterfly has made more than one shorhorned appearance in a coord.

This would have been much cuter with a less hime blouse, navy shoes, and a pink purse instead of the white. She needs more pink if she wants to do a 3-color coord.

I have this jsk in ivory. I like pairing it with a coloured cardigan or sweater and a beret, or other hat. It let's you add in more colours to pull things out of the print than just a blouse and tights. I like brown, red or navy as an accent for this.Your coord here feels overpowered by the dress, and the tights don't work as mentioned by others. You could also work to add in more accessories or accents on the theme. There are different fruit, chocolate, biscuits, and cutlery motifs to pull from. You could also attach the clip from the dress to a hat or sweater if you were using them. If it's too warm for that where you live, a shortsleeve blouse with some interesting bracelets would suffice too, or a shortsleeve bolero or shawl.

My biggest peeve with wa is when the top is "based" on a kimono, but none of the details are actually done right (sleeves, collar, obi if used, seam placement, etc.). I know most people wearing wa, or seeing wa, aren't going to give a shit, but it makes me hate the style almost immediately any time it pops up.

This one especially bothers me because it looks like it was made with shitty quilting cottons, and not interfaced anywhere. Her "obi" is saggy and her collar is limp, the sleeves are the wrong shape and more akin to hanfu than a kimono, and the overall result is just cheap looking.
