Alright, I'm going to need more help/opinions on Alphys (I've posted some WIP shots a few threads over). I'm not sure about the eyes. I've got two styles made up right now, neither are fixed at the moment. Which one looks better?
Personal preference to the small ones, but someone liked the big ones better...

I like the bigger size. Look at the proportions on the sprite, it's 1 eyespace between the eyes. I would also have chosen glasses with a wider bridge.

Hoping to do a Frisk and MTT duo with my buddy later in the year, mainly for skit potential. Buddy can rock the MTT look (he's done cosplay in heels at least three times already), but I just hope we can pull off the makeup crisply.

Also I wish Death by Glamour wasn't such a complex song, it's hard to find a good remix under 2 minutes.

All these bad Sans are keeping me motivated to not have mine come out looking like theirs.

Anyone got any ideas for a prostetic that could be used for Asriel's final boss version? This prostetic discussed last thread probably works great for Asgore or Toriel but it looks too bulky for Asriel somehow. I would like a more slender one.

You could take a shot at cutting it yourself. I'm planning a skit to Hopes and Dreams/Save the World, so I just cut the pieces of the songs I needed to make a mix under 2 minutes. I used a program called Mixpad Multitrack, its free and really helpful.

Yeah, I was having trouble with just starting the sleeves. Had to do the ribbing on double pointed needles then move it onto the circular after two rounds of increase.

Well anon I'll start a tutorial pretty soon on it, I'll post it in steps since the sweaters take a while to make, but if you want to knit it up I suggest getting some cheap yarn and needles and practicing the basic stitches (knit and pearl) you can find video tutorials for those online really easily!

My Alphys has a hollowed out snout and the nostrils are a mesh type so I'm gonna install a fan eventually. Just gotta find out how.

I'm hoping to get Sans done for a few months time, I've got everything sorted and made except for the head. I've been racking my brains trying to figure out how to make it as all the tutorials have been using the pumpkin pail method, and I live in the UK and getting those is extremely limited. I found one on taobao that I could possibly get but no idea what shipping will be like with an agent as I've never bought from there before!

Any other Sans who didn't use the pails, what did you use? I have some chicken wire mesh I was thinking of using and then paper mache/filler but my skills with using chicken mesh is pretty low.

I'm going to paper mache then paperclay over that. Then you just pop the balloons, pull them out, and cut the holes before detail finishing the outside.

I think the top lip might be painted slightly darker than the bottom one but it's nowhere near the pitch black upper lip, white bottom lip combo that most Mettatons do.

It gives it good definition without looking too stupid or out of character.

The EVA foam mats I've used had a textured and a smooth side. I've also ordered some that was completely smooth on both sides. I don't have experiences with smoothing it out, but if you're talking about a diamond pattern you'll probably be out of luck with Plastidip. Attaching a picture, if your texture is any rougher than the Worbla, don't bother trying and try to find a smoother mat.

I use yoga mats all the time for parts of cosplays and the smooth side is what I work with, the textured part is always the back of armor. Just Gesso it and sand it once you've shaped and youre ready to paint it

It's hard to explain what faking it looks like but it's pretty easy once you see it.
Usually they just cut their hair short and put something about pronouns in their description. They make no actual effort to pass as male, they have no desire for hormone therapy or surgery, but they get ridiculously triggered if you dare call them a girl.
Because then they can make a huge rant about it and get 6000 asspats from their followers.
I guess the biggest sign is by how much they blow things out of proportion.

What's the best way to go about making Mettaton's chest plate? I've always drawn him with it being a solid front piece, but I've noticed that a lot of people draw/cosplay him more like it's part of his top that just wraps around, if that makes sense, like pic related. I've already cut out my chest piece in a solid front part but I can redo it if it will look better/work better.
