Something about this throws it off for me. I think it might be the headdress and the shirt under it. I want to like it but can't.

There was a post on CoF during ILD that I want to post here but can't find it any more. It was mmm's cathedral print and the girl just had a wig that really threw it off.

It's not the shoe style, it's the color mismatch. I agree that red shoes would be better or she should lose the red blouse and red headdress and opt for a white or blue blouse with matching bow/head covering that ideally has some gold on it.

I kinda like this. The wig is probably my biggest issue but I wouldn't say it's got to go. I'm not particular on the glasses either but she also probably needs them to see.

My only problem is the flowers in her head seam out of place. I get that she was trying to match the ones in the print but I would have gone with far lighter shades then she did.

This outfit is cute but lose the shoes, put on makeup and use a damned petti. I'm also not to keen on the hair but at least it's kept.

The only thing I don't like about this is the lack of makeup and the blouse. I also think those Madonna crowns are just dumb.

Her petti is too short for that dress and that is causing a definite bulge around the hem before the ruffle. The shirt also just doesn't go. The shade of white is fine but the texture is off putting. A nicer more full bow at the waist would look nice. The veil is too long. If it had stopped around her hair length or shoulder it would be more appropriate. It is definitely cohesive but all those little things stop it from being a good coord. At least she is having fun with trying things.

I would have just ditched the crown entirely before I walked out of the house. Even a gold tiara or a simple blue bow would have been better. Would work with the hime wig better.

The shoes are off but I'll live with them. But you really need a better petticoat this ones looking a bit sad for such a beautiful dress.

Thanks for the tips. The petticoat is from CP and one of their recent ones so it's a lot less full than I imagined. I'll have to hunt for a fuller petti to go with my OPs and a better hair accessory that matches.

I would say the petti is good for a more relaxed outfit like a causal VM dress. But with the extravagance of your outfit you might want to get two and make it extra proofed. You had hime hair, over the top sleeves and print. Always go for the overly poof. Go big when the rest of you is big. Me likes tea makes some pretty good ones. CP hasn't had good pettis in a while.
