That looks pretty labour intensive. You got any pics of the finished product?
So I ordered two clear cases for my new 3DS and am wondering if any of you guys have recommendations as to where to order decent quality bulk deco goods? This is my first time trying it, but I know how often the Chinese bulk places use super misleading pictures. Mostly looking for more gothy themed things but sweets and gems are great too.
In exchange here's some deco, polymer, and acrylic tuts or inspiration I have saved.

I'd try bidding on eBay. I get all my rhinestones there for super cheap. Not entirely sure about deco goods though but I see a lot of them for sale.

are there any sellers you'd recommend?
>>8792020
Sorry, all I know are rhinestone people since I don't do whipple/food decoden. I'd just search "cabochon" and sort by price to see what pops up and then once you've got a feel for prices, try bidding by sorting by "ending soonest".

Anyone have a shop/fb page to order a decoden phone case for an galaxy S5?
>>8792023
Rhinestone sellers too I mean. Like I said I'm way more interested in darker sparkly gothy styles, I just have a bunch of food ones saved since I also make doll accessories.

If I'm doing one with no whip like >>8787335, is E6000 suitable glue? I'm planning to do both metal and plastic pieces.
Tried out some gel Krazy Glue from the dollar store along with a cheap kit I got off eBay and 20 minutes later this is as far as I've gotten. Everything seems to stick in place once the gel dries but I think I'm definitely going to invest in some good glue. Anyone have any recommendations for decoden glue?
>>8793804
I've used both E6000 and two-part superglue and they both work well. E6000 is a bit more convenient since it's pre-mixed, so you don't have to make a mess trying to mix it up. It's cheap as well, you can get huge tubes on ebay.

Thank you anon! Now I'm reassured since I haven't used the E6000 I bought today just yet. My Krazy Glue worked well enough but glue kinda smeared everywhere and I had to keep putting pearls down to cover it up so I'm excited to have this E6000 stuff with about four little metal applicator tips. I think it cost me about $3.50 at Walmart for a toothpaste sized tube. Probably could have been cheaper on eBay but then I'd have to wait for it arrive.

This looks really cute!
Apparently this is what 3,000 2mm rhinestones looks like.
All these beads, still can't get started on making designs. Please hurry, China Post. I don't want to pay Walmart prices for beads.
I ordered the wrong size cases for my 3DSXL by accident. Anyone here do sales, and if so can you tell me if cases for the new regular 3DS are selling alright?
Also I know usually its the top part that gets all the decoration for obvious reasons, but these ones are two separate parts, so should i just leave the bottom as is and include it or decorate the bottom too or what?

That looks closer to 300. I'd make a claim if you can.
