Post what you've got.
Hard mode: Post pics that haven't been posted a million times before.
Super hard mode: Antique Clock.
I've been absent from cgl for about a half a year and still want that sailor dress. Requesting coords with it, since I'm not into lolita but I fear id look to old for it and I wanna know what girls look like with it.
Huh, thought I had more than that saved.
Found this and it needs work but I thought the idea was cute. She just needs some stuff for her wrists, cuter legwear, and cuter hair and accessories. Love the nails and the apron with the skirt tho.
Does anyone have good coords with the balloon bear JSK or OP in pink?
Not really forgot about these
Also, which dress is this? I know it's Bodyline but I can't figure out which OP/JSK.
I wear it without a petti and with a cardigan to uni all the time and get tons of compliments from all sorts of people. It's not a dress I'd wear to a lolita meetup (too embarrassed about it being an IW replica) but it's one of my go-to cute normie dresses.
I adore the pop of colour the shoes bring to this, really makes this special.
A more punk (or something) take on sweet. This is what I'd define as "bittersweet".
Don't really have a comment for this one...
You rarely see this print done well, so this is very nice to see.
This girl always makes Bodyline look classy.
I'm disgusted with myself because I wore this dress without a blouse because it was listed as OP instead of jsk. Now I kick myself every time I see everyone else wearing a blouse under it because i wore it sleeveless to my first meet and looked like an idiot.

You don't see this dress worn much, which is a pity.
Love this coord, it's so OTT cute.
Another dress you don't see too much of these days - I've always loved the cut of this.
A more subdued take on Cinderella Bunny.
I'm gradually falling for this dress.
pretty sure the headbow is the Infanta one, pic related, both they and bodyline made jsks with that same fabric
Yep that's right. Improving upon someone else's failure is TOTALLY cheating lol.
I think her alterations are awesome. And I'm sure she probably would have coorded it nicely without the alterations with the eye she has.
Nwoart but it's cheating because you can't see her shoes. She has a few photos like this where she cropped out her feet or hid them behind something. A coord isn't complete without shoes.
I know Peachie is easy mode but still
I love this girl's outfit but god I hate her hair... This would be 10/10 to me if she was wearing a curly brown wig or something.
This is not good. Just because it's not total shit doesn't mean it's good.
I feel like /cgl/'s standards have really fallen in the last couple of months, especially in the self-posts.
Sure, it's "fine" in that it's very basic and not a mess, but how is it good, i.e. why should it be in the "good bodyline coordinate thread"?
It's not horrible because it's just a dress plus white tights and white blouse, but there's a lot more wrong with it than just the petticoat/skirt issue.
The skirt shape is bad, the boobloaf/overall fit is bad, her makeup is bad, there's barely anything going on (hardly any accessories), and that wig isn't great either. I hate it when people use the waistbows as headbows, too.
This wouldn't be a good coord on a skinny girl, and the fact that the girl is bigger isn't making it any better.
Good bodyline threads should be for good coords, not "decent" babby's-first-coords.
Honestly, I'm not a fan of the whole "being a bitch because it's cgl" thing, but the board has turned into a huge fucking hugbox in a lot of ways.
Also, anon, you should probably clear your name field.
Hi, the girl in the picture is me. I know I have a lot to improve on, and I respect the things you said. The fit of the dress is a bit strange to hear as this dress is actually a little big on me since I've been losing weight. The skirt shape is definitely strange and I know I'll need to get a better petticoat. If you have any advice on how to improve my makeup I would appreciate it. I've only recently started wearing it. Any suggestions on a better wig for this coord would be appreciated as well. I'm working on getting more accessories. I appreciate any suggestions and advice!
Try a different colour and style of wig, maybe? While personally I think you look very cute in it, it doesn't quite suit you, so for your next wig try going for something that doesn't have twintails.
For the skirt, get a slightly less puffy petticoat. I had the same problem with the bubble shape, but I just layered my pettis until it looked decent.
Also, I got exactly the same blouse and colourway as you. Odd coincidence.
Get a longer darker wig, longer will make your face look less big and your skin doesn't suit this shade of blonde. Wear some covering cream, especially around your eyes since they have dark shadows. A little bit more showy make up would help too since rn I can't even see if you're wearing make up at all.
And honestly I find the choice of legwear boring. Getting some more pink down there could look nice since you went for pink wristcuffs. Maybe a pink blouse too ? I'd have to see it.
I've seen it on the website a million times but I can't find it right now. Did they get rid of it? Am I going crazy?
There's something weird about bodyline skirts vs. certain pettis; idk if it's the fullness of the skirt (or a lack of) or what. I have a floral dress from IW that gives me the most adorable, perfect cupcake shape when I use the CP bell petti; under Squirrel Party however, it looks really weird. It's almost like the petti is too short for the skirt. When I pull it up the bottom of the skirt hangs there limply and when I pull it down I get weird bunching around my crotch. ugh.
Anyone got coords of the piano JSK?
no full good coords, but i like how it looks with this belt here.
