>>8768327 I don't think so because if you search "Iwatobi Swim Club Jacket" and sort by lowest price, there are a half page full of similar listings doing the same thing with the price and it's all different sellers using the same stock photo.
>>8768327 >>8768449 Pretty sure they're doing the trick that the wig sellers have been doing lately. You'll see a wig for sale for $ but when you click on the listing, the wig is $$ and the item the price is for is actually just a hair net.
Advertising something that is supposedly out of stock though (despite being purchasable) is probably against eBay's ToS though. Especially when you're only doing it to ensure that your listing shows up first on the price sorting.

>>8768859 I have the strawberry shirt + skirt set. Not sure if what I got is the same as in that listing (I bought from here if anyone's curious: http://www.ebay.com/itm/321765223389) The shirt is really nice and surprisingly thick for a tshirt. Printing is clear but the colors are a little less saturated. The pink is more like the third product picture in the listing that you posted and the green is a lot more like a mint green. The skirt on the other hand is just shit. Mines made out of some scratchy, stiff polyester material. Its gotten softer after a couple of washes but I till don't wear it because it just looks awful on me. Also the printing is worse on it, there's parts that look like the ink bled or something. I can post pics if anyone's interested. I really want to get the egg set too but I'm afraid of getting the same crappy skirt as I have now.
>>8767955 Update. The seller sent me a bullshit excuse about how it's out of stock but there's a eBay delay in the stock thing that some how let me purchase one.
Instead of offering me another one for the same price they're just straight up giving me a refund. I only need the other school's jacket and not Iwatobi's so I didn't put up a fuss and just thanked them for the refund.
Are there any sellers I should avoid when purchasing makeup?
A seller named cosmeticmarket2012 based out of Korea has Missha bb cream for $6.20 and that's the cheapest I've found so far. I looked up their feedback and everyone has said fast shipping, correct item, etc.
>>8770348 Check Reddit's list of good sellers. If they've only been open for a year or two they might not be on the list, or have enough feedback for people to consider them fully safe. If you think it's worth it go for it, it's not like you're losing a ton of money.
Are all cosplayers on eBay ripoff merchants, or is this a rare case?
Here we see a Red Hood Costume. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/321951375483 It consists of torso armour and shin guards. The seller wants AU$420 (+ AU$50 for postage) for this costume.
Here we see Motocross Body Armour http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/261529554617 It consists of torso armour and knee guards. This seller wants AU$79.99 (with free postage) for this motocross armour.
The only difference, other then price is that one has shin guards, the other knee guards and the fact that the "Red Hood Costume" has a red logo painted on the chest and shoulders. Otherwise it's the same motocross armour. Is red paint really that expensive?
>>8771492 Gosh, anon, you're obviously not paying for just the paint, but the skill of the artist. It's the sum total of the hours of preparation, to say nothing of the years of practice and wholehearted commitment, that went into the project.

>>8769457 & worn pics. I'm sad I can't wear the skirt under the shirt bc the waistband makes it look terrible. And having the shirt tucked into the skirt just makes me look like a potato. I'm wearing a black cami + leggings under it so you can see how thick/thin the material is. I might be able to wear the skirt under something heavier like a sweater but I feel like the skirt just looks bad regardless of what I wear it with.
Can anyone find more of these kind of silly cases for phones? I've found a few pants ones and a futon one while searching for gashapons but I've seen ones like the pic on twitter but I can't find them resold anywhere else
>>8777548 Me again! This came in the mail a few hours after I posted it!
Wearing shitty wig cause my hair is a wreck but...
The hoodie is okay. It's much thinner than I thought it would be and even though I got a large it's still sort of small (I though getting a large would make it able to have to sleeves past my hands some but they go to my wrist. So it fits but not the way I want it.)
I recommend going 2 sizes larger. And like I said, it's not that thick so don't be planning to wear this for the winter.
All that said, it's really cute! The wings are bigger than shown in the picture and stand out more. Very comfy.
>>8777696 i have the same sweater but bought it off taobao some years ago in a one size, its way too small so i'm considering buying a new one. what size did you get? You look about the same size as me and i like how it looks on you.
Not sure to ask this or the makeup thread, but is it a good idea to buy an eyeshadow pallet from ebay? I don't want a lot of colors and I don't use eyeshadow a lot, anyway. Would it be really poor quality if I got a cheap pallet?
>>8783285 Rain house on taobao is a seller for this beret https://shop33588431.world.taobao.com/category.htm?spm=a1z3p.7398038.w4010-1277616695.2.ISKiHq&search=y Find a reliable shopping service, or just ask my-lolita-dress.com via email to be your shopping service if you're too lazy to sort through all the engrish/commision rates/etc. Would be an awful lot easier than trying to sort with eBay sellers which can refuse, or ask for non-refundable payments and you have no comeback if the item never arrives

>>8781402 >>8781791 again. Just realized you were asking for general sellers, not just Korean brands. Well, always check a seller's feedback and look up guides on how to spot dupes of high end products if you're interested.
There's another website called Poshmark where people sell more high-end products than eBay. If you're interested, you could use my referral code PVAUW to get $10 off your first purchase. They offered me $1.99 shipping after a few days too.
I know this may not be what you're looking for, but check out the makeup thread. People have tons of suggestions for cheap eyeshadow palettes. I personally like l'oreal. It gave me pretty strong colors when I last used it. They also have four to six color palettes, and even a nude palette out.
E.l.f. is also fairly cheap and I've seen it recced a lot here.
And if you happen to be in an area that doesn't sell these cheap palettes, I've seen some on international sellers, e.g. yesstyle.
I personally would not get a Chinese no name eyeshadow palette because the chance of a Chinese factory mixing lead, mercury, etc. into it is pretty high.
how is the sailor moon bra/panty/lingerie set? i know its super cheap so i might as well order it but i just want to know what i should expect. how did the bra fit? is it cheap material? it looks like it would feel like a swimsuit. but the official ones looked cheap imo too..

Warning now, ignore what the contents say on the info chart at the bottom. I bought it thinking I was getting Queen sized duvet cover + 2 pillow cases + sheets because the options list maxed out on characters and cut off what it says.
I actually just got the duvet cover + two pillow cases. Which isn't bad for $25 which is what the sale price was yesterday. I already have sheets to match so I much preferred the two pillowcases and most listings I saw only offered one and they were much more expensive.
>>8793022 Honestly, your best bet is to go through the archives and look through eBay threads for reviews and links. A few of the cheaper listings are really terrible, but this is eBay- pretty much all of it is cheap if you're ordering from China, it doesn't mean it's all going to be crap. That cosplay is a bit shit though, ngl.
And yeah, the fraying on stitching on the top design is kinda bad. Defo going to see if I can get the design physically printed on at some place. Not the worst but not the best cosplay of this character I've seen.
>win two auctions >pay with eBay Bucks >check purchase history >items marked as 'payment pending' >items still also listed in unpaid section >pop up every time I go to pay for something else >almost paid for them two more times now
This is ridiculous. Should I just pay for them with my own money or hope eBay figures it out for itself? I bought another item from the same seller using my eBay Bucks and it went through no problem.
>>8798391 Oh man, I do this pretty much every time I get paid. It's all tiny cheap craft stuff in my case, so they tend to deliver everything wrapped in an elastic band instead of just pushing a million tiny bags through the door. I think my postmen are convinced I'm either super rich or insane. >>8796143 You can do the design yourself, if you have the patience. Just make sure not to leave any raw edges and iron everything before you sew and it should be good. Getting things printed onto clothes can be a bit pricey, at least where I am, so it might not be the best option. If you want it printed instead of sewn you can print it on yourself, too, but it might be a bit messy.
>>8798895 That's exactly what I've been bidding on this whole time so I know that feeling, and the rubber band bit too. I'm just glad that I had the awkward "So why do you get so many packages from China?" conversation with my mail carrier already.
Just hope they're still nice to me after all this arrives. Still got a few auctions I'm high bidder on but those don't end until tomorrow.
I try not to bid more than $0.30 for 400-800 gems but damn, it just kinda spirals out of control and next thing you know you've won 50 auctions in a day.
>>8799080 I'm getting into decoden, hence the bidding spree since I need a little bit of everything. I thought about doing nails but I wouldn't have the first clue on buying good nails since all I see are those long clear plastic ones.
Tavses has the most when it comes to rhinestones/pearls and I recently got an order from them >>8786120 that was missing some items but when I contacted them they reassured me that they would send out replacements asap and if I didn't want to wait then they'd just refund. I didn't mind waiting for $0.50 worth of stuff and I've already won about 20 listings from them since then.
>>8800928 Depends on what you're buying. I don't think I've ever spent more than about £10 on a single item of clothing, and that was a really nice dress. For home stuff, like tins and coasters, £1-6 is the average. Accessories are super cheap, especially if you get them on auction, and they can cost as little as 1p each (usually a bit higher, 10-30p is the usual starting price for a bid) or about £1-3 for most BIN costume stuff. Clothes can be a lot more expensive- I saw a pleather jacket go for £30+ shipping not long ago, and that was from China- but it's usually way, way cheaper than buying it instore.
>>8800928 I generally am buying things in the $10 or less range, be it clothes, accessories, shoes, bags, etc. If I'm searching for a very specific item (such as for a cosplay) then I will usually go up to $30, sometimes higher depending on how "rare" or difficult to make the item is. My personal rule of thumb is try to pay no more than 60% of what it would cost to get from a retail store.
So I got inspired by a room thread I saw on the board and was wondering if anyone knows where I could find an acrylic organizer of this size? or what the correct search term would me? Tiny little baby ones keep popping up and that's not what I'm looking for.
>>8805036 I would check your local Marshalls or Ross if you have one! I got this baby for $12 at Marshalls and found similar ones on eBay for ~$20 shipped. The seller skyfairy156 has a cute "360 Degree Rotating Cosmetic Organizer" for $25 that looks pretty sturdy. Also, searching "makeup organizer" brought up many clear plastic ones like in your pic.
>>8805162 lol, this is the exact type I'm not looking for. I mean the style of drawer. >>8805166 I guess I was too vague, I'm looking for one with drawers that is big/very large like the one pictured. The small ones don't do it for me. thanks for the help tho.
>>8805241 On my wishlist now, thanks for posting anon! >>8805273 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Japan-Puella-Magi-Madoka-Magica-Soul-Gem-Earphone-Jack-Phone-Accessory-Homura-/172052890857?hash=item280f26c4e9:g:HDoAAOSwNSxVdhbo is the only one I could find and it's Homura's. Sorry anon, it looks like you might have to order from Japan...
I actually did not get the socks, but the skirt in the picture. This store is probably reselling from different taobaos, though, so the odds are good that the socks will be tiny. Sockdreams has a lot of cute ones this length, though, and I heard they have way better stretch.

Also, my order should arrive in a few days, but I'll be headed out of town. If they get here before I go I promise I'll review them all! I know the Leon sweaters are going to be a gamble but I really wanted them.
>>8806689 Hello, fellow UK anon! Nice choice of plant matter there. >>8806817 Thanks for the link! And I love that dress, it's hilarious. I honestly think the people who make these things just trawl Tumblr at 3 in the morning and stick the weirder shit on clothes.
I want really kawaii and pastel colored type stuff. Long shirts you can wear like a dress and oversized, comfy sweaters. Sort of pastel goth without the goth, I guess. Or cute things like pic related.
Does anyone have any keyword recommendations to find those kind of things? I've tried some basics like "cute/kawaii" "pastel" "oversized" "harajuku" but nothing really noteworthy comes up. I can find tons of this stuff on taobao but I prefer the convenience of not needing a service.
>>8808483 You have to be weirdly specific with this sort of stuff. For pic related, try a combo of 'bear hoodie', 'rilakkuma hoodie', 'animal cardigan', etc. For general taobao fashion, try Liz Lisa or Axes Femme or similar brands and go on BIN p+p lowest-highest. I got quite a few pieces like that a while ago. If you're tall, look for shapeless sack dresses as well as oversized tops. I have a few and they are basically long tops on me, and if you get batwing or loose-sleeved tops they won't have too-small arm holes. If you're willing to try Ali, there's a better chance of finding this sort of thing for about the same price.

Some criteria about what I'm looking for >not one of those ones that're designed to hold your cellphone as well (like the envelope shaped one with the crown button that's pretty popular) >10-12ish card slots >preferably one with a clear ID slot, but this is not essential >holds banknotes flat, you don't have to fold them over for them to fit >zippered coin compartment (so many of them lack this) >not too big or bulky

>>8810826 You had me at cute wallets but then you lost me when you basically went from 'recommendations' to 'do my shopping for me'. If you're that particular about what you want, it's just waiting others time to go to the hassle of combing through listings to find things to meet your criteria and then you probably still turn them down because the design isn't your type of cute.
>>8810826 Luckily, I already bought something that fits your description. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LO3Z6CO?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00 It's about the size of a clutch bag. Not sure if that's too big for you. Either way, the link might help you on your search. Good luck!
>>8811144 That is actually exactly what I'm looking for (at least from the picture and description). Thanks!
>>8811063 I gave criteria because people here bitch about others a) who ask for recommendations, giving no guidelines about what they actually want or b) ask for recommendations and then turn down everything because it's too X or too Y. I gave that list so I didn't waste your time and you didn't waste mine. I guess you can't win around here sometimes, people will bitch about anything.
I couldn't think of right keywords for this kind of shirt. Don't even know if they sell that shirt on ebay.
I did find this but it wasn't what I was looking for. Too fluffy for me.. http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-heart-hollow-furry-warm-kawaii-pink-sweater-top-fairy-kei-tumblr-amo-cute-/181989091458?hash=item2a5f652882:g:0W4AAOSw5dNWlHUz
>>8811376 It's good to add details like "X color" or "Doesn't have ___" but it changes when someone writes out an entire list of very specific demands. It just makes other anons go "Well if you're so deadset on making sure it does or doesn't have all these things, why aren't YOU looking for it?" because anons could find cute wallets with one or two details you want in about 15 minutes but with all you've listed, they'd have to comb through 30+ listings just to find one or two.
>>8811458 I don't think any of those requirements were unreasonably specific. And I would have thought that by asking for recommendations instead of asking for links, people would read "hey guys, if you've bought a wallet that's along the lines of these criteria that you really like, let me know" and people like >>8811144 can respond. I can trawl through searches myself, but I'm more interested in what other people have bought so that I can get a better idea of quality and whether someone would recommend a product, because I know what ebay can be like. I never expected someone to do the work for me at all, and I apologise if I came across like I did.
>>8811323 Look through the archives and see if there's anything suitable. It's best if you're more specific if you want links, because you might get a flood of mori cardis and what you actually wanted was a loliable one. There are tons of links in past threads, and even if some of them don't work for whatever reason, you can use the keywords to search for similar/the same products. Good luck in your search though!
>>8811433 I know for a fact that I've seen something similar in an Ali thread not too long ago. Can't remember if it was one of the fluffy ones but iirc it looked like a cross between your pic and a normal top. Sorry I'm not much use, but look in the archives, you should find something there.
>>8811128 >>8811183 I own 7 but I think I bought mine from a different seller? Unfortunately, the buttons on it are placed a little oddly so it's prone to like... not closing all the way? Like unless you wear a sweater or something on top/layer it with a cardi, ppl can probably see ur skin/bra. It's weird because it's not like I have particularly big breasts either?
>>8811798 >>8811433 This looks like its the exact one, if they are using actual pictures instead of misrepresenting it http://www.aliexpress.com/item/OASAP-2015-Sweet-Heart-Shaped-Cut-Out-High-Neck-Pullover-Sweater-Women-Brand-Loose-Sweaters-and/32511227736.html
>>8811128 I own 1 and it's super cute and comfy I also own 7, it's transparent and yeah but with a plain white tank top underneath you're fine I have 9, maybe not from the same seller though, it's super warm. The skirt from 16 is cheap but totally fine Same for the number 12 skirts. I have it in black and it's correct Also the thigh highs from 8 are nice for the price and actually keep my legs warm (i got them for like 2 bucks each) 3 is nice for normalfag wear, actually comfy.
>>8808101 Oh i have it!! It's really cute anon. The fabric is kiiiinda silky like to the touch? Idk how to explain but it's comfortable to wear. Pretty light, looks super duper cute with frilly shorts or a cute skirt underneath. The ribbon is detachable and the embroidery is charming.
>>8812935 ok so I don't have one of those, but I was wondering I just keep searching 'face mask' when I try to find these things, is there a better way, or should I just stick to digging through those results
How do you get a refund on a product you never received? It's never happened to me but my bf never received something he ordered for me back in october, and ebay and paypal are just referring him to each other. Since I've not done it myself I have no idea how to help.
>>8814431 If you bought it through eBay you should be able to go to Purchase History and then find the item and open a claim with the seller for "Did not receive". I don't know how long of a time frame you have to do it though and October was three months ago.
>>8814431 Just going off my memory I think it's too late to file a claim with ebay and paypal, however he should still contact the seller to see if they will give him a refund. In the meantime, look up how to do a chargeback on the credit card used (assuming he paid with CC via paypal rather than bank) which is usually within 3 months.
>>8814649 Not yet, it should come within a week. Link: http://m.ebay.com/itm/Cute-Women-Flared-Pleated-Mini-Skater-High-Waist-Winter-Short-Tutu-Full-Skirt-/131658953035?varId=431048670538&txnId=1176724713003
I've been trying different search terms, but I've had no luck so maybe someone here can help. I'm looking for something a varsity-type jacket in pastel colours, preferably lavender but I'm not too worried if it's another pastel colour (or combo). I've tried all the search terms I can think of and I'm coming up with nothing except some basic varsity jackets. Has anyone else ever seen anything like that or is it time to take my search elsewhere?
>>8770123 You need to read eBays policy. What they did was well within the sellers rights. The pricing isn't a mistake. It is a common tactic to get you to look at the more pricey items and eBay is ok with this. Sellers also lower the price on items that are out of stock as a place holder. Sometimes items need to be custom made and if you message them they privately quote you and open an eBay transaction for you. For some reason eBay does have programming delays and you can buy the item listed out of stock because the others are available. Typically a buyer messages the seller when an item is questionable. They followed eBay policy, they didn't steal from you and were under no obligation to offer you a different item for a lower price.
Does anyone bought that Sakura wallet from this seller? I want one in red or pink but I'm not sure where to buy it and be satisfied with how it looks http://www.ebay.com/itm/Anime-Card-Captor-Sakura-Kinomoto-Grimoire-Bag-Handbag-Lolita-Girls-Wallet-Purse/111809312799?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D34493%26meid%3D0d8f63b0c59c4eb197765309ce331322%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D231605500007
>>8794717 This anon here. My bedding should either arrive today (fingers crossed!) or tomorrow so I'll take pictures and do a review asap once I've gotten it and washed it. Will definitely do some before and after photos though since I have to also put my current comforter into it as duvet filler.
>>8819917 I don't think you're going to have much luck, most places sell cabochons only. It's super easy to make them into necklaces, try buying from a good seller- a lot of them look like shit, as you've mentioned, but some make similar cabochons that are surprisingly decent.
>>8823005 I'd definitely check with the Taobao thread as well since odds are it's from there. I want to say I've at least seen that bag being used in a bear themed coord listing on Taobao as well but I can't remember where I've seen it posted.
>>8821185 Bedding arrived! The duvet cover is huuuuuuge and I'm wondering if they've sent me a King by mistake or something.
The colors in my photo don't do it justice. The colors on the bedding are super vibrant and everything feels like it's sturdy material. Both pillow cases are the same color and I'm a little sad I didn't get any blue in them but they're still pretty.
The zipper on the duvet cover is very well hidden! I had to go through it twice to find it, it's in the bottom blue section and seems very sturdy.
I'm washing it currently on Gentle cycle just to be safe but after that I'll put my comforter in it and take some pictures of the bed after everything is on.
>>8823206 Okay I definitely got a Queen size but holy cow it's huge. I had to actually crawl into the duvet cover up to my knees to get my old comforter in there all the way. The pillow cases are kinda small height wise so my plumpy pillows look deformed.
Overall, I'm super happy with it since it survived a wash and a dryer without ruining, which is what happened to my old cheap comforter.
I've started selling stuff on ebay and I have to ask, when did ebay go to such total shit for sellers? You can only leave positive feedback? I've had buyers win 100s of dollars of stuff, then simply never pay even after I combined shipping and all? And they get off scott free? Buyers messaging me saying "oh cancel my bid "something" came up" like, what the fuck.
I can vouch for workforcostumer Ordered a wig that I've been using daily (Hair got messed up so bad I had to shave it) and it's been holding up great. A bit shiny but really nothing bad, barely had to use any powder.
>>8824611 Actually I was able to cancel the bid, and i did because it means someone else can bid without me having to go through unpaid item case and relisting and all that jazz.
I actually had something weird happen to me since i posted that comment. I've had a bunch of unpaid stuff, so I set up ebay's automatic unpaid item case assistant thing - it gives the winner 2 days to pay, then opens a case, and they have 4 days to get their shit together, and if, after 6 days the buyer hasn't done anything, it closes the case, does some stuff with fees or whatever, and relists the item for you.
Well, i had one of these go through the whole process, case opened on the 15th and closed on the 19th. Actually, come to think of it I haven't any cases that were opened resolve with me getting payment. But anyways, this one closed on the 19th. I'm assuming that eBay is sending the buyers "bitch better have my money" emails and warnings.
I get a message from the buyer involved in one of these closed cases last night asking "when will you send this item" and i told them they had not paid for it so it wouldn't be mailed. They responded with a (blurry distorted) screen shot showing they had paid. Meanwhile on my end eBay is very clearly showing they hadn't paid. I'm not sure what's up with that but I told them to take it up with eBay. Anyone ever had a problem like that?
>>8826416 I realized after I posted THAT comment that the screen shot they sent was blurry and distorted because ebay screws up attached images (it did the same thing to the image I sent to them proving it said unpaid). The person had around 100 feedback that looked good but still i'm not mailing an item until i get the money for it. Sucks for the buyer, i hope they didn't lose their money.
>>8826681 It bothers me too. I guess it's not a big deal but it makes a lot of merch less kawaii. It makes buying Pompompurin merch difficult because I don't want to see a dog's butt as I eat cereal out of a bowl.
>>8826681 Grosses me out too. I have pets, I see their assholes far too frequently, I'd like to have cute animal merch that doesn't include that particular anatomical feature. Seriously, who even thinks this is cute?
>>8832467 On my end there really wasn't much to do, i never shipped or anything, and once an unpaid item case is open the buyer can't leave me bad feedback. I'm debating following up with the buyer just to see what happened but I don't want to poke the hornets nest.
I'm still mad about another buyer who won almost $200 worth of stuff and never paid.
>>8833196 Anon, I know this is NOT ebay related, but they have free shipping and they look really cool, maybe that's what you're searching for: http://pockettokyo.storenvy.com/collections/1025181-10-under/products/11711613-heart-o-ring-choker
>>8838396 Got ya covered, anon! They're about $25 each and I remember when they got discovered on eBay a few years ago and posted here, gulls went crazy for them. I wish there were more Alpaca x Anime/Game collabs aside from the Attack on Titan ones.
>>8838144 if you click the reviews and filter by the ones that have photos you can see some of th equality here http://www.aliexpress.com/item/2016-Mori-girls-Japanese-style-sailor-collar-long-sleeve-stripe-bowknot-dress-Lolita-cosplay-costumes-uniform/32500734629.html
OT, but some might be interested. I recently started using that app Wish, and have seen lots of cute things on there that a lot of anons would probably enjoy. I almost exclusively use eBay, but since Wish includes reviews, it's sometimes more helpful.
Some of you like engrish, and I know this doesn't really count, but thought it was giggle worthy. Pic related. http://www.wish.com/c/564fc27055e4d057b2519519
