Since the 13Th Doctor's reveal, has anyone already started working on a cosplay of her?
with SDCC a few days away I'm sure there's a bunch of people gunning for quick closet cosplays of her
The outfit she's wearing in the trailer isn't her actual Doctor outfit.
>>9564400
This. If you've ever actually watched the show you would know that the first outfit isn't the iconic one.
what style is the cutest to cosplay as?
All maids are wonderful

Classical for sure.
>>9563178

Not enough cosplay threads on the page.
Lets bring back the color theme cosplay thread.

I guess they have a better network and concept. The editor of Eternita went to events in Europe and got models like Risa Nakamura, Sayaka Kanda and AP pattern
Okay, who's going to buy it?
Places where you can get it;

I feel like I must be a complete dumbass, but does Tokyo Alice have anything in their global Rakuten right now? It seems like their Japan Ratuken has lots of things in stock but I can't find any in the other shop.
How do you gulls use social media?
I kind of want to use it to make new friends (I travel a lot, so I don't have long term childhood friends), post reviews of stuff I buy or repost pictures I like (without going e-celebrity route) but on the other hand I feel I should keep RL separate from some of my internet friends. What should I do?
It's obviously about /cgl/ related stuff, so I'm unsure if I should keep my weird "harajacku" clothes hidden in my wardrobe or just to have 2 profiles but then I feel I'd just focus on one and neglect the other one.
>>9561549
>I travel a lot, so I don't have long term childhood friends
I'm the same
>have 2 profiles
Why?
>>9561550
>have 2 profiles
Why?
Keeping personal/identifiable stuff away from the anonymous ppl of the internet. Like I'd like to show stuff to an online cgl comm or friend I made in a WoW guild, but it might end up scary as these places attract creepy people who'd be ready to call me and insult me during my grandma funeral.
The only social media i actively used I now am permabanned from for shit posting.

have you been here long? there's a huge stigma against cgl in most jfash and cosplay communities so most people won't selfpost outfits lest they get blamed for comm drama on this board

Connecticon is in less than two weeks. How's everyone's cosplays coming along? Did your panel submission (not) get accepted?
At least there's going to be 18+ panels this year?
Every year I think about going and then just forget about it.
>>9536299
Every year I go and I forget about it soon afterwards. Con hasn't stood out to me for a while. If it weren't for the fact it was so close and so many of my friends go who knows if I would keep going
>>9535947
We'll see when last minute items get here. My car broke a couple weeks ago so I had been strapped for cash for a while. Hopefully Stevonnie still comes out half decent

Last thread was pretty comfy, let's keep it up.
Here some unanswered questions of last thread:

>Should I wear pantsu or normal boy underwear while crossplaying?
>>9474696
>Does anyone have recommendations for chest binding tape?
>>9474806
>I need a cheap corset recommendation, and im really surprised there isn't one stickied in here. Any reccs?

>Eurofag here. How do I get proper tucking panties? Prices on ebay start at 30€ for stuff that looks real shitty.
Hey guys, do you have any tips on how to make my face look femenine?
I've seen videos of drag queens and crossdressers, but they look too exagerated and complex, I just want my face to look girly without exagerating facial features. Thanks in advance
>>9504601
Look up videos about contouring and notice the difference between female and male contouring. Females have a softer jaw line, thinner nose, and usually larger, pink lips, where men have strong jaw lines, large noises, and usually thin, pale lips. Mainly just look at female makeup tutorials and emulate what you see.
Aprons are my favorite underrated lolita accessory, can we can an apron coordinate thread going?

How can I nail the "casual" steampunk look?
Is there a way?
What I mean to do is look steampunk but not quite so out of place (IE: too many props, too flashy, etc.)
I don't think it's possible, sorry. Maybe add a few steampunkish touches to your regular clothing (a pocket watch, gear-themed accesories, brown colours...) but it'd be hard to dress in a style which is based in Victorian era fashion and not being flashy. For example, your attached pic is normie clothes with steampunk accesories, but doesn't look steampunk at all.
>>9562127
These are just plain clothes with some random bronze accessories. There's nothing steampunk about this.
>>9562127
>those ugly ass flip flops and cheap accessories
just stop anon. Steampunk is ugly enough.
Any seagulls at D23 today? I've seen a lot of cute lolitas and a lot of cosplay, but no thread here
Are we at doll model level yet or nah?

She's been around for a while and been posted about before. That exact video is in lolita general right now.
>>9559700
I think I know what I want to do when I start to get too much wrinkles. I can be kawaii forever this way. And fulfill my dream of being a kawaii animu doll.
Wouldnt leave the house like that but i'll definitely post pictures online and dress like that at home.
>>9559700
Wow that's actually kinda cool but is she (almost) always wearing that doll mask in her daily life? Sounds like some commitment
how do you compliment a girl that wears cgl
Nice salt

Previous thread >>9555333
Let's be salty and angry together! But keep it /cgl/ related.
My feel
> get "we've missed you" ticket in mail from post office with a huge fat customs bill added to it
> track and trace says it is scheduled for redelivery today
> run out in the rain to the ATM to be able to pay the carrier in cash
> wait patiently for scheduled window
> no burando.jpg
> furiously refreshing tracking
> "sorry, you're delivery is running late. It will be there asap."
> f5 f5 f5
> suddenly on tracking window "We've missed you anon. "
> Idiot didn't even ring my bell and just put another slip in my mailbox
Wasted a whole morning for nothing gulls, I am angry and still separated from the sweet sweet burando.
>>9558651
Delivery guys often do that, just put in a slip instead of ringing.
Lots of videos about it on youtube.
>>9558697
damn, must be rough. My delivery guy saw my lights on and rang two times after I didn't hear it the first (had earplugs in).
>cleaning out my cosplays to sell
>nothing but "what ifs" go through my mind
>Mods haven't approved any of my posts, which makes me want to keep hoarding these even more.
