Who else bought the dip in SXL & SUN

own 100 shares of each. ITT we discuss high yield, long term (5+ years) stock picks for out performing the S&P 500.

OHI is my next buy when I have around 3k.

Pic unrelated. I have a vanguard account, options house, etrade and robinhood brokerages. Vanguard my serious one, robinhood is just for memes. Etrade I use for shorting/margin, options house I stopped using for now.

Damn OP you just triggered me.

>see SUN
>looks like a good stock, good business model with high yield
>trading at its book value so I think it can't possible dip lower
>buy in at $24.50
>instantly drops 10 percent as soon as I touch it
>this is a good stock, I need to stay strong
>drops even lower, now down 15%
>don't have the stomach to hold any longer and sell
>stock immediately jumps back up to the $24 dollar range
FUCK ME at least somebody is profiting from this fuckery.

I have a super high tolerance for risk. I had bought in originally at 26.xx and doubled down when it dropped to the low 20's. I am reinvesting all dividends and planning on holding long term. I see Sunoco stations everywhere and they are always crowded.

Also, its hard to predict short term movements, Long term investing of solid stocks will win almost every time.
