I fell for the business school meme.

your failure does not mean the field is a "meme"

Yes, it sort of does.
Economics in general is woo-woo that doesn't reflect reality at all. Even worse, it's one of the few fields in the humanities, along with political science, that people for some odd reason take dead serious, despite that it shouldn't be taken serious at all

*tips fedora*
And you know this from your extensive experience as a NEET?

I second this.

If an economics degree doesn't get you a good job immediately after graduation, it's probably because you were retarded and neither took math classes to complement it nor got internships.
I thought the reason to go to school was make connections with people and get started that way.

No, I know this from Long Term Capital Management and every stock market crash ever

Dude you fucking lazy shit...
I took an Economics BA, managed to squeeze in a Computer Science minor (all core classes and 1 400 level elective) from a top 5 CS school, as well as pass CFA level 1.
Now I work in Wealth Management making 70K + performance bonus(5-20%). Currently studying for CFA level 2 and looking for jobs as an equity analyst.
Hope to be a hedge fund manager before 30, if everything goes well.
The degree is not the problem, it's the type of people the degree attracts that is.
