All game TOS contracts are worded in a way that you don't actually own your account or anything you buy. You are merely paying to rent it out.

People have tried suing Blizzard and other MMO companies after spending tons and getting banned, and they have no real legal grounds.

Did I say abuse? Oh. I would use two accounts to gift myself "mystery skins" which entitle the purchase of any in-store skin at the price of 495 "RP". RP is RIOT POINTS, a monetary value set at 650 RP = $5. They sell skins up to 3200 RP, but with the "mystery gifting" feature, I am able to acquire any skin at a base value of 495 RP. I basically spent 2k buying every skin for extremely cheap.

It's not against the TOS, but with my account banned, I have no access to what I have spent my money on.

How did you buy them? Most credit cards will do an automatic chargeback for purchase of digital items. Just say that someone else used your card without your permission.

While card counting in Vegas may not be illegal, it is certainly frowned upon and ultimately you are at the mercy of the casino which, like Blizzard, doesn't look favorably upon people gaming the system.

The only possible way for you to get anything back is to file charge backs with your credit card. Thats it, and if you paid cash for those riot cards or whatever well.... your screwed.

Even then chargebacks only go back like 6 months and I doubt you get much if anythinfg back.

Some people I know used PayPal to charge in their MMO's and when they got banned they were able to get back a decent sum through PayPal (going back 6 months) and since they were already banned the MMO company couldn't do anything since all they do is ban when someone attempts a charge-back.

Basically, you arnt getting anything if you didnt use a credit card or paypal and even if you did... I dont know..

But that wasn't why I was banned. I was banned for in-game chat activity. There is nothing in the TOS, micro-transaction section, or website that states I cannot use this system to buy skins.

I only mentioned it because I believe it's the true reason why I was targeted with a ban, rather than my mild-language use in-game.

I used a credit card, but this was 2 years ago when I made the purchases.

Riot is pretty strict about this.

There was a guy that spent 3x as much as you and he got banned and they refused to overturn their decision.

Consult a paralegal. They'll read over the ToS and charge like 120-500 bucks to send a strong worded letter to Blizzard about releasing your account.

I believe way back in Ultima Online times UO banned an attourney and he sued them in court since with his account banned he could not enjoy the house he bought in the game. Google it.
