The funny thing about Enron is that the company was so devoted to the ponzi, that they were turning down extremely profitable contracts that would have made them a legit business because it would have interfered with the ponzi.

There are tons of worker testimonials about how the higher ups did shit that made it obvious the company was in deep shit years before the crash
